Nude sex scenes in ME3

Don't say anything, just think about it.
Now let's discuss. ME is a game, that is aimed towards mature gamers. The trilogy has so far had excellent moments: choices between life and death, suicide missions and massive moral dilemmas. But then, when it comes to romances... the game falls apart. After all that time you spent on romancing Jack ('cause let's face it, people who romance Tali or Miranda are just lonely, insecure nerds, LOL), all you get it is a tasteless sex scene.
This. Game. Needs. Nude. Sex. Scenes. Without nudity, this game has no credibility as a mature game. Without accurately describing the unity of Shepard and Jack, this game can't be anything more than a kiddy space shooter story.
I rest my case.

How are people wanting to see boob pixels any less lonely and insecure nerds than people who romanced Tali or Miranda?
Seriously, if you're on BSN discussing Bioware games' sex scenes then it's a bit of a given that you're a nerd anyway.

Yeah I think you need to rethink that.

'xactly. I'll go for another Ashley-like love scene. It shows a bit skin, but not too much. Most of it is for player's imagination - and I'm fine with that. No need to see naked Ashley to imagine her beauty ...

Garrus's clawhammer for ME3
Garrus' romance scene is definitely one I'm more than happy to allow to end with a cheap fade to black moment.... as much I adore Garrus I don't really want to see the raunchy details of his and Shep's coupling

Seriously, remember what happened last time there was a booty shot and side boob action. A certain news station had a damn cow over it.

I would rather have a kiddy space shooter with great characters, a good story and witty dialogue than bow chicks wow wow.
No thanks.

I respectfully disagree, sir.

I'm also perfectly happy with ME1-style sex scenes.
What irritates the hell out of me is when they make a scene where the characters should be unclothed but aren't, because the devs/producers were afraid to show nudity.

Do it like they did it in ME, where they just showed the side

Funny most people that get all riled up about nudity in movies or games are typically teens...
Nudity isn't a bad thing, but really its never necessary in entertainment. If your work falls apart because there was not enough bouncing bosoms then chances are your material wasnt that great to start off with.
....haven't we had this thread before? I'm getting a strange sense of deja vu.

While I prefer ME1's way of portraying the romance scenes, I will give the edge to ME2 scenes if only because they are tailer made for the characters you romance.

Since you are mature, you don't need to see the sex, you just need to know that its happened between the characters. With excessive nudity, this game loses credibility as a tasteful game. I'm all for a quick flash of skin and the implication that it has happened. I don't need to see the graphic details to know that the characters are now deeper involved with one another than they were before. As a mature gamer (35), I see no reason to dwell on the visceral when I should be cocentrating on the intangible. What has drawn these characters together, why do they love one another, what does that mean going forward. I find these questions to be far more engaging and far more worth my attention than the pay off being graphically displayed.

I hope everybody and especially the ME team knows how to distinguish between the two.
