Old Artical is old, also not one of the best writers on that site.

I agree. John Cheese and david Wong are not very good.

When did anyone ever say that?  Or even imply it?

It's the same type of argument as "oh he's a comedian, so he can't have a point."

I WILL LIVE FOREVER... or die trying, in any case I can't see a situation arising where I'd lose my love for video games. They're just too much fun.

Eh I feel like I am getting too old for videogames, but not because games are childish or anything, but because I suddenly find myself lacking the time to play them :(

Nah you're not too old, just too busy.

With age comes responsibility, mostly work but sometimes university or something similiar.

Could've sworn it was "with more power comes more responsibility".

Let's see...

I don't complain about multiplayer. I don't ignore the flaws of my favorite games from yesterday. Originality is not dead in my eyes. Nor do I feel most long games are too long to want to play them.

The only part of this list applicable to me is I do feel games "used to be about fun". Except, I know they weren't. It was simply that before the tech wasn't there to make games so visually compelling, so gameplay had to pick up the slack. If the tech was there, it wouldn't have been very different then.

I'll be too old for video games when I feel I'm too old for video games. Chances are that's never. They'll be snapping a keyboard from my cold, dead fingers before cremating me. ;)

You are too old to play games when...
1) you are dead
2) when arthritis or whatever means you can't operate the controls
3) when your vision and hearing are so bad you can't tell what's going on
4) I SAID "WHEN YOUR VISION AND HEARING ARE SO BAD YOU CAN'T TELL WHAT'S GOING ON"
5) when your Alzheimers' means you can't remember....
what was I saying agian?

I take some comfort in the prediction that by the time I'm too old to hold a controller (or keyboard and mouse) in my old, arthritic hands, games will have evolved to the point where we can basically upload our minds into a computer and play games that way. We shall never die, my friends! We shall live on forever as heroes in a game world! :D

"You think multiplayer is bull****."

Why, yes. I really do. Most of the times, anyway. And I don't think I'm too old for videogames.

The guy wasn't too full of himself - it was not quite serious... It's like the south-park arc (sorry, two eps), where Stan turns 10 and gets cynical.
