Connect to the Dungeon Eternal PW (in action) and download all the ADL content. There is a ADL 2da file for placeables, it covers everything, and is known working. Pain's got all the monsters, tilesets, etc working as well in their relevant 2das. A number of PW's use the ADL packaged content.

Pain also hangs out on irc regularly, so try the nwn2 irc channel.

You probably know this but the 2da is not enough - there also needs to be the corresponding MDBs and textures (dds/tga) - even then it is possible that the placeables do not yet have a blueprint - which means that you have to go in manually and create blank blueprints and assign the proper appearances in properties.

If you plan to make building a long term hobby, then a useful exercise may be to choose exactly which placeables you want to add and learn to merge the .2da files. At first it is painful and confusing but after a few times you will become very comfortable doing it and adding custom content and using .2da files to gather other information will be a snap.

BCK is huge - even more so BCKII - for starters mayhap use only the modern or gothic or roman(?) to get the feel for managing such a huge selection of placeables.

I have a habit of just cramming all of my 2da with content as I get it so my placeables 2da is NOT compatable with community content but for building it gets the job done (chaotically) and I just do that manual blueprint thing as I dig into the BCK and make things as I go.

So, what you all are saying is that even tho I'm downloading dungeoneternals haks I will still need to sort out all the blue prints appearances in the tools? Surely one of you all have a mod where this has already been done? I can do it but talk about time consuming! I've played with all the 2da files. My current mod has custom races, classes, feats, spells...but I never seem to get the appearance 2da right...

Sorry, I don't have it. I've done picking and choosing as I go. One advantage to minimizing community content to only that which you need is it keeps your download size smaller which is nice for players who have limited access to downloading.

You will need blueprints unless Pain's pack comes with blueprints already made.

Yeah, picking and choosing sounds like the right way to go but I want it all. Lol! And like I said, I am not good editing placeables 2da...sigh* guess I need more practice. Will definately post an all in one if I ever get it all going right. I think its important for future builders to have as many placeables options as possible and I will not deny them! Haha. Am really hoping nwn3 doesn't suck me in away from all this fun. Doesn't look like it so far.
