Does her pic stay up or down?...Also did you do LotSB before or after the SM in that game?seirhart wrote...

I did what you did and still ended up with liara, but if you romanced miranda or anyone else before doing the lotsb then the picture of who you are with should be down. If you do it that way and you talk to her on the mission she will complain about you cheating/choosing someone else over her and no matter what you do you don't have fun with liara back at the normandy but you can invite her over and talk to her....The point was though, I wanted this Shep to play the field as much as is possible...that included a second interlude with Liara, I did LotSB before the SM on purpose...I have just been very surprised to see the pic of Liara after what he did....I wonder if he hadn't fried Miranda (turning on her) if the the picture would have stayed face down.
I've always done the lotsb way before the sm as soon as I get the mail from cereberus about the Shadow broker i go straight for liara and give her the information and still stay loyal to her excep for the one where I cheated on her with one of my squadmates.
Something Odd With Liara...or Shep?

If Miri broke up with you because you sided with Jack, that is most likely the reason Liara's picture went back up. Even if you romance someone in ME2 and still stayed with Liara, Liara's pic will stay down unless the ME2 LI is over with.

Thats what I am thinking has happened also...I am just hoping Sheps indiscretions don't just get completely ignored though...maybe it just makes things easier for BW, but would be a shame.ladyvader wrote...

I'm just responding to what happened to me, so I can't say if it happened to anyone else. The thing is that if you want the picture to go down intentionally or not you have to go through all of the romance converstations to your target in 2. Now I think that you have to get to certain point in courting if you will your target.
I've courted Miranda even though I was with ashely, while courting miranda Ashely's picture was still up but if memory serves me is that for miranda where she goes and sits on her bed etc you have the option of pushing for miranda or you can stop. If you keep pushing for the romance and she/he the target will say thank you or something and will also say I need to think. Now from that point on I believe signals to the game that you are no longer with your me 1 romance if you had one and is now with your me 2 target.
So basically you are still with your me 1 partner while pursuing me 2 partner up to a certain point where in one of your conversations with your me 2 target triggers the game that you are now betraying your me 1 with me 2 target.

The other posters may have pointed it out, but it seems LotSB make-up with Liara overrides any other relationships (prior or after), since the game assumes you play LotSB post-suicide mission.Golden Owl wrote...

If your Shep really wants to escape from the Shadow Broker's eternal embrace (I can't imagine why anyone would), he would have to break up with her like a gentleman. I'm afraid.

You can keep your ME2 LI and get back with Liara and have Liara's picture in Shepard's cabin stay down. It only comes back up if you break it off with the ME2 LI. I do believe this will cause conflict in ME3.iOnlySignIn wrote...

Wow, that's surprising. Doesn't getting back with Liara automatically mean breaking up with ME2 LI? If not then this might be a serious bug for ME3 import.ladyvader wrote...

I've never tried it though (My Sheps are 50% Liara-loyal 50% Celibate). So I defer to your experience.

If one is active, pic goes down. If none are active, pic goes up.
Nothing in LotSB affects that.

If that is the case then what about what happened to golden owls playthrough where he explains what he did, where the picture of liara went down but after lotsb the picture of liara returns in the up position?

Which basically means that Liara will know whether you're being honest with her in LotSB or not. Makes sense.jlb524 wrote...

I actually like this idea. A huge reason I like Liara is that she's so nice, and yet so dangerous. :-)

He only said the picture was up at the end after all was said and done. The picture of Liara went down when he was involved with Miranda. When the relationship with Miranda ended the picture went up. It would have been the same if it was a picture of Ashley.

I'm a pure 360 gamer, and you can definately use gibbed with an xbox save so long as us export the file with a usb with a program like USBXTAFGUI_v44, then using modio you can export an individual save to gibbed, i've done it too many times to count.
If so check out:
social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/103/index/2277020.
Unless, do you mean looking at the plot table itself in gibbed, cuz doesn;t it display the same values as does the PC ?

Make that a foursome. Tali will be joing the fray to embrace eternity w/ three other people simultaneously. This will really be a test of Liara's mind-medling capabilities.

By modding anythning on your 360, you risk getting not only your account with XBL banned, you also risk your getting your console banned. That isn't an issue if you never play online, but if you, why risk it?eltan2481 wrote...

Yes, but changing the hair or eye color of a character in single player or generating a new game save isn't really modding in way that may affect the gameplay of another player so i don't see microsofts interest in banning something harmless like making your own means of recreation more personal. Thats besides the point, however; it was commented that Owl can use gibbed to view her romance flags, and that does not require modding. She need not alter it if she doesn't want to, I was just saying she does have the capability of checking it out with gibbed, again that can be accomplished by copying rather than tranferring a save to a usb, the save does not have to be imported back to the console...

I was unaware that I could do that on my XBox...though yes, I also don't wish to jeopordise my account in amy way....as far as I am aware when Microsoft do their 'who's modding, etc...' sweeps, their not looking at what you have done, just that something has been done and it results in an immediate ban.eltan2481 wrote...
