I've gone across it through a few playthroughs already but with no success at all as to where to find it so I could get the achievement. help would be much appreciated.

After you and Talis escape from jail, head upstairs and get trapped by Prosper so you have to go back downstairs to continue. If you stay upstairs, you will find a vault surrounded by fire. There are three fire puzzles. By completing each sections puzzle, you will be given a series of paintings with equal rows and files as tiles on the floor in front of the fire. Use the paintings to figure out the pattern to rotate the tiles and extinguish the flames.

If I remember correctly, after solving a puzzle the blocks are a reverse image of the portrait, not a mirror image.

Dirty secret Number 1 in this area, you don't have to solve the puzzles to get past the fire. You just have to enter the correct codes found at the Wiki to do it. You will miss out on some money and gear if you don't solve it, plus if you have Issi with you, you miss her personal quest but the actual fire puzzle only requires the right answer.
