I don't care if there's an immorality button. What I wanna know is if I can increase the quantity of immorality in ME3.

I think that we need a Off/On button for homosexual content.
Now please, don't attack me just yet. I am a good, normal christian father, and all I ask you to do, Bioware, is think of the children. I personally do not aim to show this kind of videogame to any of my sons, but I worry about the young generation, or the part of it, which doesn't have any kind of  guidance from responsible parents that would prevent them from taking a wrong path.
A young mind can be easily confused. If you show to children, in this game, that homosexuality is in some universe completely okay, this will have an effect on them. As members of this fine, christian society, we have a RESPONSIBILITY. for these kids. We all know that this is a mature game, not meant for kids, but without any doubt some will play it and some will watch it. We can't be showing our kids contradicting material, we can't corrupt their heads with such immorality.

Surely guiding children down the right path is more important than petty money you get from catering to those kind of people, Bioware?

Thank you.

So if there was an 'immorality' button, than I'd have to assume you would also want it to shut off hetrosexual romances. Since as the good christian parent you are, of course you realize that sex ouside of marriage is very immoral. You shouldn't be showing them unacceptable behavior. Like the nude sex scenes you previously requested.

You'd probably also want all the violence turned off as well. I do recall something in the commandments about killing. Also coveting. So the switch should also keep you from looting any containers you find in the galaxy. Looting corpses would be two sins in one, so that certainly must be shut off.

Besides what child wouldn't be entertained by a game where they get to stand around dramatically doing nothing at all important aside from keeping morally pure? Of course our children, who shouldn't be even playing this game in the first place, won't be smart enough to just turn that switch back on.

So I feel confident that your plan will work to keep our children safe.

No, it's just sex in general. Horror, gore, spewing blood is fine but sex and/or nudity is evil!

True, there are a lot of homophobic people here, but we're not all like that.

@Mei Mei I guess I'm not a "good" American, then. :D

Well of course. We all know what happens to the couple who tries to sneak off for some nookie during a horror film.

I'd make a big reply arguing against what the OP said, but he's just a troll, and none of the people who replied to this thread seemed to agree with him, XD

But a character like Jack, and all the indiscriminate killing that Shepard is doing, is appropriate for your kids?

America glorifies violence and frowns upon sexuality. You didn't notice it yet?

I think that is sad too.  Yet, quite true.  =]

I wonder if Kaiser's seen this thread. Anyway...even if I don't agree with homosexuality personally, I don't think having a toggle on it would do anything. If anything, that seems like it would increase a kid's interest. The "toggle" might make it seem more of a risk, more exciting, etc.

I think a toggle for ALL romances would be nice.

Homosexual applies to both gay men and women.

Thank you. I know! I'm just trying to ascertain whether he has a much softer stance on lesbians than gay men.

LOL @ the OP. As if people's sexuality is decided by video-games. ME3 is going to turn kids gay oh noez!

Things like these make me lose hope in society. People are just too stupid to be true.

I...what?...for real? I'm going to go vomit, now. Travelling back to the 50s always makes my stomach a bit unsettled.

BTW: out of curiosity: Where is this "fine Christian society" that you've mentioned? See, I live in America in the 21st Century and as far as I know we have no State Religion here...it's kinda prohibited in the U.S. Constitution.

^ this.... I have been saying this for years its the most bass ackwards things thing  I have ever seen.

Sinking incomes, cost of living rising,  wages decreases, corporate corruption, crime, school bullying going from  "Just Being Dumb Kids" to  Kids killing themselves acts of violence that some older former bullies going "Really thats going to far"  . Education system in shambles   The list goes on but  LAAAAAWWWWD forbid you show and with sex, nudity, etc.... Nope stop the press  " We must Protect the Children...."  - Oh really?

If people don't want to  have a  see the  S/S content in the game do the same thing that I did when Anders hit on me in  DA  - pick the big Broken heart symbol and  move on... really.  This toggle nosense I am hearing is mind numbing - mind boggling... I tell you.

As for the parents there is a big  ole  M for Mature on the box for a reason -  Read.     Damn People.

Sorry for the rant - was channelling my in Huey from Boondocks - happens from time to time.

There should be an immorality slider that goes from 0 to 10.

I'm going to crank it up to 11!

Technically, it's an implied separation of church and state under the constitution. Unlike many countries in the world where there are church taxes, in the US, churches are tax exempt. There is no mandate for a citizen to provide for any particular religion as under the constitution we have the freedom of religion.

That is not to say the evangelicals have not been pushing for a Christian based society in the US for a long time. They certainly have. After all there are Islamic, Jewish and Catholic Nations in the world. Whereas the US allows all religions.

So the OP is referring to a group or organization with either that name or the evangelical/Christian right or right wing conservatives.

Anyone remember the good old days of Duke Nukem 3D where "parental locks" could remove pixelated gifs of bloodstains and ******? We should go back to that. Because not only was seeing a pink pixel within a few lighter pink pixels worse than brutally eviscerating anthropomorphic pigs with a shotgun, but removing a few fluff decorations is fundamentally the same as removing a significant part of game and story content.

I saw three threads get locked down yesterday. Wonder if this'll be the first today...

I'm sorry, but based on the post, I think you're giving the OP too much credit thinking they're refering only to some particular Group they associate themselves with and not the Country (or whole World)
