hi everyone im quite new about downloading games and stuff, and i dont have a great computer knowledge i even had a hard time to find what is my computers settings are but here is the thing. i read lots of informations about dragon age origins video card problem. i guess i have the same problem i have a acer aspire 5920 laptop and when i try to run the game. a wild warning appears. it says "failed to detect a supported video card." but i checked the system requirements and apperently my laptop sould run the game. i use xp so i need to have at least
6600 GT or Radeon X850 with 128 MB video card and i have
Nvidia® GeForce 8600M GT 256MB DirectX 10 so i dont understand why it is failing to detect. sorry about my language i tried to express my self as much as i can. and if you can help me to understand the problem i would be very greatfull

If you go to this thread: http://social.biowar...8/index/7280573  and scroll down you'll find instruction (with pictures) on how to tell what video chip DA:O is detecting on your laptop.  See if it has your Nvidia chip or if it is defaulting to an Intel chip or something.  Report back and we can troubleshoot some more.
