To everyone who has finished the game and also romanced morrigan

I myself loved and hated how everyhting happened.
I have never been so emotionally attached to a character.
Just
how defensive she is about love, How you eventually and finally got to
be inlove, you convinced her it wasnt a weakness,How much effort it
took.
I was hoping for a happy ending...
then when you have the choice of sacrificing yourself or alistair or having a baby with morrigan.
I chose the baby, then she ran away and was never seen again.
I
couldnt believe it ended like this, you have the ring so she can track
you down, and your character can feel teh remorse and sadness she bears
through the ring at the end.
It was so sad, and made me feel liek crying tbh.
Then again i might just be a p*ssy
But still DLC to find her, and be with her, and love her.
I think that DLC would be great.
Just
soem DLC to find her again and get all the answers, woul in my opinon
wipe all other DLC out o fthe water. So sign here if you want the DLC
and im writing to BIOWARE THEMSELVES with this.
Cos honestly, would they pass up an oppurtunity to get money? :D
Anyway
Sorry for that Rant
JUST SIGN :D

Did the same as and yet I don't want it to change. Hopeless romances are so beautiful, why would you soil the beauty of you PC spending all of his life searching for Morrigan with a DLC.

You really think they havent already got it made up? They left the story with her the way it is, so that they could make dlc/expansion out of it... dont worry , you will see it.

Ozzy, I had the same feelings you experienced. But then again, a lot more people did too, you can see posts of people asking for more Morigan-related content all over forums. You might check out following group: http://social.bioware.com/group/622/  Over 2000 posts about Morrigan alone Posted Image

enjoy.

I honestly think that this exact situation is what made me realize how much I need to get out. I am not at all trying to diss the OP, I have made an almost exactly the same post, but I realized that the only thing in the world that would heal my wound is this:

A real woman.

I'd rather see one called, "The Legend of Flemeth" Maybe that would be better as a whole nother game though.

Yes and no.

Would I LOVE to track down Morrigan? Romance her further, explore that relationship more? Of course. She's a phenomenal character, and a relationship I would never have expected to enjoy as much as I did.

But DLC? No thanks. Give me Dragon Age 2. That's where you'll find more Morrigan content, pretty much guaranteed.

DLC is an add-on. Usually short-lived and with very little (if any) game-changing content. You might get an hour or so of play out of it, a cool sword, maybe a nifty suit of armor.

But for Morrigan? I want a whole game. She deserves better than 10 bucks worth of DLC to answer all our questions. I appreciate your frustration and sense of longing for more of my girl Morrigan, but I don't want her short-changed for content by accepting DLC of something as potentially EPIC as the hunt for True Love Lost as my lost son/daughter/demon.

No chance, man. Full game or nothing at all.

I'd only support Morrigan DLC if the option to kill her was present.

I know they will continue her story (the writer said as much) but my fear is that they will continue it without allowing the PC to take part in it. I have little interest in a "stand alone" Morrigan follow up.

You do have a point there. Leaving the story for the next chapter of the game is probably better idea on teh whole. Still would love to see some continuation.Posted Image

i felt the same way, when she said she would be leaving and never coming back i was like ='(

and then when you complete the game and you say you're going to search for her thought "yay an epilogue quest where you find morrigan and your baby" but no... we just got some text that said she was never seen again.

but i also agree with CimmerianJester, i wouldnt want a DLC that was rushed in order to get cash, maybe if it was at least 4 hours long (preferably triple that :P) but otherwise i think it would just cheapen morrigan as a character.

I'd rather have it be a particularly lengthy side quest in the sequel/expansion, than short DLC.

I thought you'd like it too, The Angry One, just to kill her? :P

I agree with the people above. The story should be continued in a whole new game.

Same i want it bad D:

And how about like, LARGE DLC like shivering isles for oblivion etc ?

Wouldnt that be great? :D

I know a short DLC would be dissapointing, but if it was a lengthy quest, with teh option of actually living ever after it woudl be amazing in my opinion :D

There OFCOURSE she be teh option to kill her or SOMETHIGN bad for teh people who truky hate her, but all the same it would be an aamzing DLC :D

Also if its in teh sequel DO WHAT YOUR DOING ON ME2

Use the Game Data !

And anyone in bioware think of the money ;D :L

Well only real reason she followed grey warden is to be able have this child. Her mother have prepared her for this, it was her major plan to raise child that will become monster that she will be albe to command... child could have powers of archdemon, sutch as control of darkspawns. maybe or maybe not DA 2 or DLC might have this scenario in mind.. or maybe already do... but for me its only reason why she would wanna kid from warden, and after all leave away so he couldnt see what child might become of.

I think this might be a good story to continue, alot of gameplay trying to find morrigan and what happend to your child, fight hordes of darkspawns, fight Morrigan mother (she might be some crazy dragon or some demonic form), maybe dont need to kill morrigan since she realize that her mother tend to do with a child. And final battle includes fight with human form of archdemon(your child). Just my ideas bout dlcs or da 2.(sorry for english, hope ya could understand what i meant to say).

Just as a question, let's say you romanced Morrigan and you *did* chase after her once the story is over. What would you expect to happen if you found her?

I find it hard to believe that you would honestly expect a reunion where you run towards each other across a field of grass, arms open to sweep each other up? Morrigan says, "you found me, you big silly! I know I told you to never come after me, but I was totally wrong!" And then you go off to raise your demon baby in a nice cottage with a white picket fence?

Or you think that, having found her, she will answer questions for you then? Do you intend to offer child support, what? I know that you were hoping for something *more* -- but that's part of the point. I obviously have my own ideas on where the story will go, but now I'm just really curious as to what sort of romantic reunion is being pictured here.

To me it doesnt have to be a "happy" ending. I could see maybe something like you find her only to discover that the kid has turned into a evil demon and you and Morrigan get killed trying to stop it....which could lead into the main quest of Dragon Age 2.

I honestly dont think anyone is looking for the PC and Morrigan to settle down in Flemeth's hut to raise babies and live happily ever after. I would, however, like to see some closure.....especially since at the end of the game you are given the option of going after her. To do that and not follow thru would be kinda weak IMO.
