What I hope to see is an full-blown sequel where YOU play Morrigan's baby. So many interesting choices and ideas. I suppose it might get a bit too much Oedipus for some though I guess....

Hmmm... I'd only really like to see that if your (presumably living) PC dies, and it can actually be part of the story (maybe a bit like ME2, but I'm confused on the whole "Shepard dies" thing after hearing about Lazarus). Leaving the PC alive and making you control a new character would be a bit awkward (especially if you meet the former PC later on).

And saying "they got killed in some famous, epic battle which you'll never see" makes it all seem a bit cheap, and it would be weird if something like that came from BioWare (haven't seen a bad game on their track record. Ever.)

And as for the whole Oedipus thing... No. Just, no. The sad bit is, it might happen; the player is used to flirting with her as the former PC, and might try it out of habit, as I've yet to see an in-game mother that's truly sacred to the PC. Thus the kid manages to completely alienate/destroy his/her mother, OR completely screw up everybody's memories of Morrigan as a well-designed character.

Ouch.

Check out my post here. It's in english and provides the most detail on the expansion that so far we have got. It says you can start a new or import an old char. I think, really hoping if you use your saved one Morrgian will be in this one. This is the best bet.

Since it's in March, about two months away

I get the feeling they've had this expansion planned in detail before release, and it's even more likely if Morrigan's in it. Something that could relate so strongly to a sequel's plot would need careful consideration. Christ, a full-blown expansion after four months, and all while their "best game ever" (not being sarcastic there, by the way) is in dev. Bloody awesome skills, BioWare.

ah. the "love" convo, then? Meh, I just thought about what to say carefully, and got through without an approval decrease

Think it was something along the lines of "What if I do believe in love?" and then I kept going down the "I still love you" path. I'm told that you can break the relationship in it or lose loads of approval, but I'm not sure (haven't tried it).

Just as a question, let's say you romanced Morrigan and you *did* chase after her once the story is over. What would you expect to happen if you found her?

I find it hard to believe that you would honestly expect a reunion where you run towards each other across a field of grass, arms open to sweep each other up? Morrigan says, "you found me, you big silly! I know I told you to never come after me, but I was totally wrong!" And then you go off to raise your demon baby in a nice cottage with a white picket fence?

Or you think that, having found her, she will answer questions for you then? Do you intend to offer child support, what? I know that you were hoping for something *more* -- but that's part of the point. I obviously have my own ideas on where the story will go, but now I'm just really curious as to what sort of romantic reunion is being pictured here.

Maybe I want to track her down and murder her for breaking my heart a la KILL BILL...

OR if we're going to be talking in terms of REALISM, you could explain how it makes sense for someone who is in love with you to disappear without saying goodbye for absolutely no apparent reason. Obviously she has some hidden motive, with the demon baby and all, but it isn't revealed, so it's entirely reasonable for the protagonist to want to at least FIND OUT what that reason is. And it better be good. By just leaving it out of the game the writers totally copped out
