Yes it is. She uses it to track you if you're captured by Ser Cauthrien.

I mean related to emotional connections or whatever garbage Morrigan made up.
Not it's common enchants.

Well, everyone believes what they wish, I suppose.

Just as a question, let's say you romanced Morrigan and you *did* chase after her once the story is over. What would you expect to happen if you found her?

I find it hard to believe that you would honestly expect a reunion where you run towards each other across a field of grass, arms open to sweep each other up? Morrigan says, "you found me, you big silly! I know I told you to never come after me, but I was totally wrong!" And then you go off to raise your demon baby in a nice cottage with a white picket fence?

Or you think that, having found her, she will answer questions for you then? Do you intend to offer child support, what? I know that you were hoping for something *more* -- but that's part of the point. I obviously have my own ideas on where the story will go, but now I'm just really curious as to what sort of romantic reunion is being pictured here.

When Morrigan offered me that deal i immediately refused.I knew this is insane-an old god walking the earth again and she should be stopped. So i picked the "Too bad i didnt kill you a long time ago" and got "Now you never will".

So heres my question:Why?Shes right there! How hard is it to just decapitate her?Plot protection?

One of your friends and companion wants to ressurect an old god-you disagree and she betrays you....and you cant kill her?Ill state again:WHY?

Because Morrigan could just cold of cone you to the spot, or force field, or paralyse and wander off? The real reason is she's plot-protected. She will be in the next expansion.

Because Morrigan is a Mary Sue Because Morrigan is totally powerful and awesome and you'd never get her and even if you did she'd totally shapeshift into a bird and fly away to FREEDOM!
I mean it's not like you've ground worse than her beneath your boot in the process of getting up to that point including Flemeth! Oh wait lol.

That's definitely just the writers protecting their future prospects for the character, I believe. Then again, there are so many other variable outcomes that will have to be reconciled in the future, why not allow that option? I highly doubt she could've escpaed if the PC wanted to stop her; if I recall correctly the hall dowstairs was filled with the rest of the party, and given the general feeling toward Morigan I'd bet they would've galdly slew her at the Warden's command.

Well, no one wants a happy ending. But we do want an ending.

I guess you really are angry, huh? I never got the impression Morrigan was immensely powerful but I did get the impression a couple times that she actually is Flemeth already.

I personally like amibiguous endings instead of bittersweet sligthly dark ones. But thats me

DLC content where you are a Templar hunting down Morrigan would be pretty dope...just saying

People who put Morrigan on a pedestal merely because she flashes her boobs at them annoy the hell out of me (yeah I'm saying if Morrigan was dressed like a nun she wouldn't be half as popular!).
Whether she is or is not Flemeth is irrelevant, we've already beaten Flemeth once anyway.

Im angry that the devs make the character powerless in some pretty important situations.Anora and Morrigan are two of those situations.

Oh and Flemeth "taking" the body of her daughters might be a metaphor.Since the first cut scene ive felt Morrigan and Flemeth as one and the same anyway. And all this rubbish about demons to be a manipulation on Morrigans side.

You beat Flemeth with your entire party and Flemeth obviously wanted to fight. If Flemeth wanted to escape you couldn't do jack-squat to catch her.

Would not want a DLC for this either, I'm more happy with Bioware's current route of adding DLC for current DAO story as opposed to adding to the end. If they are going to touch the Morrigan story arc let it be in another game, if not a heavy expansion.

I believe the Morrigan story could in the future with the next game involve all the major players i.e.

The Fade,

The Black City,

The Old Gods,

The Blight.

Either way it should be excellent no matter what route they choose to take (maybe she wont live through the birth?) with this, It would be dissapointing if it just remained a romance link and a waste of the great character presented to us so far.

I really don't get why people go so gaga over this if at all. I mean even the Desire Demon is kind of a stretch, but at least you can see where people would be more  Since the boobage is more epic.

My reaction to Morrigan's cleavage was "meh"

Okay.I want the option to fight anyway. And if it leads to "Game Over" then so be it.RPGs are about choices.

Well, I'd rather wait till DA 2 with same plot posibilities like are going to be implemented in Mass Effect 2 (that choices made through the game will make great impact on future game plot). Imagine the Warden searching the world with his old and new companions for Morrigan and his child, while the main DA 2 plot slowly unravels...

I was actually pretty happy to see her leave as she did, since she was my character's romance but I also wanted to marry Anora. I was expecting much more fallout and anger from Morrigan about that, but it was good that I was able to "finish" the romance with her, ending at +100 (Love) and having her call me "my love" in her final speech, and still marry Anora in the end.

Seemed pretty much best of both worlds, really. Parted on good terms with Morrigan, felt like she had truly loved me and was leaving with sadness, not hating me, and yet with a nice clean break with no complications, allowing my character to go forward into his life with Queen Anora freely.

IT'S NOT A DEMON KID.

Damnit, don't people ever listen to stuff ingame? It's a pure soul of the Old God. It's not evil.

Nope, but according to the lore, the darkspawn will be inexorably drawn to this Old God Baby, and will taint it again, if they find it.  I have no idea what Morrigan is planning to do with the kid, but hopefully it has something to do with stopping this cycle of Blights, and redeeming the remaining Old Gods.

I just really, really hope the story does get told, whether as an expansion, sequel, or book.

Yeeesss Flemeth totally wants to fight to the bitter end.. which is why you can make a deal with her to leave, not kill her and say you did.
Wait what?

If the player ended with the Dark Promise route or got her pregnant at some point during the game I'd like to see interaction focused on the child. Morrigan has a lot of baggage from her own life so it would be interesting to see how that translates into how she raises her own. Does she really want her offspring to be just as socially stunted as she is by keeping them seperate from society?  Possibly the player could convince her to give the child the chance she never had and let them become the "girl with the golden mirror" she would sometimes imagine herself as.

I think everyone wants some answers as to what Morrigan is/was planning. But if it is something the character would oppose, they should be able to stop her(through persuasion or force) or possibly jump on the bandwagon and actively support her -- or just leave her alone if neccissary.

The reason she would prefer to make the deal is because then she can surprise Morrigan and steal her body. If she fights you and kills you then chances are Morrigan is going to flee for her life, actually that's probably why Morrigan doesn't come along to the fight. She probably thinks you'll fail.

She makes the deal not because she's scared of the player but because it puts her at more of an advantage.

Aren't the codex entries we get on the Old Gods written from a chantry perspective? Not exactly an unbiased source of information. I think assuming that the baby will be evil is a little much considering how little we know about any of these things.
