That looks shocking , is the quality the same for everones that have received them, or was this a one off. If not I'm not looking forward to recieving mine in the mail. It is very sad . My 5 year old could paint better than that. I hope you can get a replacement on that.Hannova wrote...
The quality...is dissappointing.
Mine arrived intact, but:mellow:
Mine is certainly as bad. <_<

Mine came the same way, I ended up submitting 2 cases because I couldn't find the replica under items util I found this thread. I hate to agree but the quality isn't quite what I'd hope for but I kinda expected that from having bought a model of the Serenity from Firefly for my father and it was about the same quality. I still love it though and I should have a Cerberus version coming too.

The quality of it is pretty much the same as CDRSkyShepard.

True. The Shepard was bad, and so is this. I have MUCH more faith in the Koto products.

Everytime I look at these picture, it aggravates me at the sheer lack of care or attention to detail to finish these so called collectibles, especially when people are paying the money they're paying. They're not exactly a cheap mass produced model...the least they can do is paint within the' lines'.
With some of the examples that have been shown, I'd be embarrassed to display them.

I think he was talking in reference to my Normandy, not the Shep action figure. I'm actually pretty excited about Liara's bishoujo makeover, and knowing Kotobukiya's reputation, they'll be much better quality than these guys.
But I'll take what I can get at this point, there's not much in the way of Normandy memorabilia.

EDIT: About the paint job, I have to check but I have to agree: I don't think it was that great. I'll post pics tomorrow.
I'd love a do it yourself kit wher you can paint it yourself (I miss my giant aircraft carrier model)

Yes, sorry for not being clear about what I was refering to. CDRSkyShepard is correct, I was refering to his Normandy ship.
