I received a replacement model this afternoon, but never received another e-mail.  The box had a good bit more padding, and the paint job looks better than the first.  Hope you have similar success.

only its too big for that (and too expensive)

Mine arrived the other day and the paint job is quite good - I'm more than happy to have it on display. It was shipped after some people had already received theirs, so I wonder if the quality issues are batch-related. I'm curious to know, for future reference, if anyone's received word on Treehouse's stance on the poorly painted ones: are they standing by the product or allowing replacements?

This makes me want to reopen mine and double check it. As for paint jobs, I've always not cared too much on small models depending on the type. I bought mine from Things From Another World though. I never pre-ordered or plan on ordering the Cerberus variant. Mainly because I don't like it. I would only order it if they came out with an SR1 model as well. Actually, on Things From Another World they are coming out with what they deem a Special Edition Silver Normandy model, but in reality, all it is is an unpainted SR2. I think because of all the painting complaints. Kind of ironic really.

 You really make me want to cancel my order of 2 TWO Normandy.. an Alliance and a Cerberus, coming to Italy it will surely arrive broken, and with that paint job.. meh.. I've lost ALL my interest..
 and I had high hopes about it!

Edit: just sent the request for canceling my order, since nothing was shipped yet (waiting for the Cerberus one). Considering mine had to come to Italy they would have arrived both in PIECES <_<

What the hell? I preordered both the Normandy ships, still it's "pending fullfillment", and now the Cerberus version isn't even in the store list anymore...
What the hell happened to those damn ships?

Ooooook, I just went to Dark Horse website and saw the Cerberus one isn't out till next week... I hope the dealy is thought to fix those awful paintjobs I've seen in this forum...<_<

Just b****ing about the delay, some hours ago I received the mail my ships have been shipped today. Now let's just hope for the best...

Hell with this why cerberus ship has better black color then alliance one ? Biowere must be controlled by cerberus for sure. Anyway when i unpack mine ship it was intact but after one week when grab it, the left wing broke off and rest of ship falls on the floor and ship's nose dispensed ( poor Joker and EDI ) . Well i just want to ask if it can be stick back by glue.

This is why I always grab mine by the base. I try not to even move it around as a matter of fact. It just sits there and looks pretty.
