You know for some reason Lobi, it would not surprise me at all if that ends up true, not a bit.

I'd play it. But I also thought Patrica Tannis was an LI, so what do I know.

That image helped a lot. I have no interest in smashing cars and deserts. I prefer the sci-fi or straight up fantasy. Going to save me some money.

lol. So you were going to buy the game in this new IP without having learned anything else about it?

I bought DAO based solely on the Urn of Sacred Ashes trailer alone. I saw the trailer, saw BioWare at the end of the commercial, and bought the game. I had no prior knowledge of it.

Your guess is as good as mine- some cartoony racing game in a brown desert?

Link: Game Informer

Well that pic doesnt exactly restore my faith in Bioware however perhaps I was a little naive in thinking that this new game actually could. Still I am interested in finding out what this game even if I have little to no intention of actually buying it. Surely somebody is going over this picture with a fine tooth comb trying to find any little hints of what this game could be?

So far I have done a quick scan over the picture and I really cant determine much other than it looks somewhat like an imitation of Mad Max and the people in the picture look like freedom fighters or guerrilla soldiers. One thing I did notice however is while I cant tell if it is supposed to be the heat of the desert or something else it does look like something is distorting the light as if there are invisible or cloaked enemies in the picture and behind the dust. I know down the bottom it looks more like the desert heat but up near the top left hand corner where the tyre is it looks like there is something distorting the light. Perhaps it is nothing however that is all I could really pick up from the picture.

I didn't regret it. Now ask me how I feel about following the development of DA2, and pre-ordering the Signiature  addition...

Well the guy in the air doesn't look human.

How did you fell about following the development of  DA2, and pre-ordering the Signature Edition? :police:

On topic though, I'm curious if this will be an RPG.

Looks total human to me, just with a garbage Brink-like art style. Hope that's just the trailer's art style and not the game itself.

As tempting as it would be to leave a racist comment implying that black people arent human (in jest of course) I think it would be wiser if I diddnt. But I am not sure where you are comming from here, what about him makes you think that he might not be human?

Ehhh... The part with the car turned me off just a bit, and I'm generally not a fan of post-apocalyptic settings, but I'll wait for more information before making a decision. Bioware's surprised me in the past before, so who knows?

His head and feet don't look human but its not clear so I'm probably wrong.

The setting looks modern day with lots of brown. As huge a biodrone I may be, I must admit the setting doesn't look one bit promising. Of course, that could just be about the worst picture they could release to try to hype me up too. We'll see.

He looks human to me. It looks like he's wearing boots with some debris flying behind his foot.

I'm curious about this. But it's safe to say that this isn't a noir RPG like I have secretly been hoping for.

This better be something like Bioshock in the Desert or John Carter of Mars. I'm talking glass cities and crazy steam-punk aircraft and giant sand monsters. Something creative. To hell with post apocalyptic bull****. Apocalypse =/= Desert. The planet could become overrun with Jungle (Enslaved/Life After People) or become an icy wasteland (Lost Planet)

Please Bioware. Don't do this to us! We are all sorry! PLEASE BABY! DON'T DO THIS!

For some reason I get this feeling that its going to be a FPS action-adventure game and not an RPG.

I'm actually happy Bioware stopped caring about it's fans. Half of us are self-entitled know it all's.

Select properties on the picture, post it up in your browser, BSN is always croping pictures. He's human, has some strange boots on though, a head rag, a belt of bullets, and a sinister beard. Clothing style reminds me of Jade Empire for some reason.
