I doubt its a CNC title. EA has some RTS developers. Could be a shooter though which doesn't automatically mean its a bad thing, could have RPG elements, beats me. Just wait and see whats said on the 10th.

It looks like whatever it is, its seemingly vehicle based. Considering the first teaser had vehicles crashing and this clip has more APCs, tanks blowing each other up.

Modern-ish setting (if that's what we get) doesn't worry me. In fact it's probably a good move.

Genre (shooter, RTS, RPG) and substance matter to me at this point. We still know all but nothing.

Feel free to sharpen your knives for that Saturday night... but keep 'em sheathed until after we hear important info.

New direction? I've got a bad feeling this isn't a rpg, and it use's a very boring setting. Please dont let EA influence you too much Bioware and end up going down the drain. EA wants there Call of Duty, I hope they dont use Bioware to make it. But I will wait and see more info before I judge, but in all honesty I haven't got very high expectations for this so far.

I'm okay if it isn't an RPG at all - as long as they say, upfront, that it isn't an RPG.

It's a new studio under BioWare. If they can get their non-RPG vibe out with another studio, maybe (wishful thinking) the RPG studios will return to some of cRPG's roots.

I would love Generals 2, but it's highly unlikely... the first picture from the game that was in GI has nothing to do with command and conquer.

Its more than likely the left over Mercenaries project from Pandemic in LA, probably on Frostbite 2. Considering Pandemic was eaten up by EA along with BioWare, it wouldn't surprise me to see whats left of them folded into BioWare as a new LA studio or something.

If Bioware make it a shooter, I will praise them so much only because this forum would go so mad with their comment such as 'I am too superior and smart to play a Shooter' or 'If it ain't RPG I can't stand it'

The first picture was an artwork which could easily show two gla technicals (one beeing blown up) and a gla driver.

The flip and driver flying out is very close to how technicals usually were destroyed in generals. Flippen and sending the driver flying.
