The sticking point is that it might be an existing franchise, just a new one to BioWare.

They could be picking up Stargate or Bourne Identity or Pitfall Harry.  You know, some established property that they haven't worked on before.

So it might not be a new IP (other than new to them.)

But saying a new FRANCHISE all but seals that it isn't anything BioWare worked on before.  So, sorry Hedgehog fans, prolly no Sonic.

And honestly - you Jade Empire fans should stop setting up your heart to be broken.  You about as likely to see another Jade Empire anytime in the near future as I am to see a third Freedom Force game from Irrational.

It seems like most characters are canon male, tbh. Aren't they also making the ME movie with a male Shep? Maybe one day we ladies will get a slightly bigger piece of the gaming pie.

There are rumours that AC3 would have a female protagonist. Take that as you like.

Both Kreia & HK are amazing, but as HK will always be our hysterical robot-maniac, Kreia is the deepest, the most complex and best written character in the entire Star Wars ever. <3
