Is a platformer. You guide a miniture giant space hamster up a chinese temple, only stopping to have sex with other animals and optional human then continue on, so it can detonate it's poop, destroy the temple and start a holy war.
It's called 'Boo's poo bang Fu.'

I have just found out more about this by using teh 1337 internet skilz.

The poops are left on every level to set off a chain reaction.

The way to trigger a poop is be confronted by a boss monster.

Unfortunatly the screenshots of the levels point to an issue which has the potential to start a flamewar on the forums, all the poops look the same.

I'm hoping for one of the following:

-Espionage RPG

-Victorian/gothic horror RPG

-Space sim

-Anything unrelated to Dragon Age.

I vote #2.  I'd love that.

I'd also easily pay for a ME style game toolset.  (This ain't going to happen but a spaced themed toolset would be a joy.)

I'm so excited. Totally making space for the VGA's now.

I'd love anything that's like...refreshing.

Modern? Cyberpunk? Or sth more antique...

It's BioWare we're talking about, I'm already hoping for a hell of a game!

I just lost my sh*t on twitter when a friend forwarded the info. I'm now trying to calm myself and start expecting to be underwhelmed, just in case. Hyping yourself is bad idea.

It is pretty awesome news all the same. <3

It's funny how games that aren't even out yet can be nominated at the VGAs for GOTY awards.

I've brought it up here and over at CDPR. Either dev would be well suited to the task. For those that have seen me pitch this idea before, go make a sandwich or something, but for the rest of you...

'It's London, 1800's, the industrial revolution. Fog and pollution obscure everything but a burgeoning scientific progress, where enlightened individuals seek to move beyond the superstition of an earlier age. They have their hands in every sphere of influence: politics, universities, the arts, international relations. There seems to be a glimmer of rational hope and London is the torch bearer. The old ways are dead. This is where you come in, a practitioner of an obsolete profession. And your itinerary, despite the veneer of optimism, is full.

Wriaths haunt the graveyards that dot the outskirts of London. Werewolves prowl the industrial district, where a dead pauper or unfortunate prostitute lay dead in the streets each morning. And something lurks in the sewers...all the while the learned, the astute, they ignore the supernatural threat seeping up from every crack and gutter in the old city, and it's your job to quell this threat while tring to convince disbelievers that if they don't act now, London will be lost to darkness.'

...Ok, a bit cheesy, but that's my idea. A free-form rpg that encorporates genuine horror elements, character progression, and story divergence.

Damn, that is cheesy. Cheesy enough to work, though.

I was thinking simpler terms, because horror genres themselves are rarely set in times lower then the 1960's.

Sherlock Holmes with a horror twist?

For slimgrin's idea, I was thinking more along the lines of Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula as far as setting and style goes. It would be interesting to see Bioware's spin on something like that, definitely.

December 10th. Get ready.

Geoff Keighley tweeted...

Also at the VGAs: Alan Wake returns and @Bioware unveils a new game from a new studio. Teaser images in December Game Informer mag.

Game Informer will post teaser image from the new franchise THIS MONDAY!

The annual Video Game Awards show is just around the corner and teases for this year's big announcements have begun.

Three promised reveals include a look at a brand new franchise from BioWare, the developer behind Mass Effect and Dragon Age. We'll also get a look at the next Alan Wake title and a full reveal of Metal Gear Solid: Rising. We'll have the first teaser images of these titles this Monday at Gameinformer.com (also featured in the December issue), so check back then.

www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/11/03/new-bioware-title-alan-wake-sequel-debuting-at-the-vgas.aspx

This is kind of stupid...several of Biowares titles are filled with bugs and have a lot of faults. Instead of fixing, correcting those problems and trying to boost their company's reputation, they chose to make another new game lol. No problem Bioware, just don't say, "we were caught off guard by fan reaction" when that new game title causes them a loss

Maybe not your definition of an RPG but to somebody else their next game could possibly be just that.

Are we sure it's going to be an RPG?

BioWare has been chummy with EPIC (Gears of War) people, as the Facebook ME group shows. I have no clue if it's only because the producer or w/e actually tried the ME3 demo and promoted it. Maybe we're looking at something similar to Gears? (I actually enjoy GoW, but yeah, no RPG elements really.) Although ME's gameplay is already sort of similar to Gears'.

I won't be surprised if Bioware's next game is a straight up shooter.

As long as it differs from all those shooters out there, so doesn't focus solely on multiplayer with a crappy singleplayer, then I really wouldn't mind. Half Life 2 was a shooter and it had an awesome story, in my books it's still the best shooter I've ever played, so if Valve manages to do that, BioWare can too.

I won't settle for a 10 hour singleplayer riddled with bugs + multiplayer however, that would be totally BioWare unworthy.

Shattered Steel was indeed a lot of fun. Maybe a Mech centered RPG...or a Mass Effect RTS? It's nice to speculate :P

OOH OOH... instead of Fantasy or Sci-Fi it can be some kinda alternate history RPG. Where the PC's choices can shape the future of the world.

Keep an eye out for Dead State. It's an RPG based in a post zombie apocalypse setting being developed by an indie studio. As long as you are not adamant in seeing big budget production values, it should be right up your alley.

I'm hoping for Jade Empire 2. Frankly, I don't expect Bioware to have created a new Intellectual Property. This is either a new branch of a current Bioware IP, or a license of an IP.

I would be very disappointed if this is just for some mobile or faceboook game.
