Although I will say they have sharp little teeth and don't know how to cover them, so nipping nuts would be the inevitable outcome. Yet another reason why I think hamsters would best be reserved for friendship and not LIs.

It has to be more nuanced than that.  Shep just isn't going to feel it when hammy smacks dat ass.
