A British protagonist? Never thougt of that. Might be good, but only if some PoC references are thrown in.SandTrout wrote...

Carter does't need to sound british. She is capable of a fairly wide array of accents, IE: Fight Club.Ofcoursenot wrote...

Also, both are already experienced voice actors.

In what mystery universe do you come from, where Johnny Depp is British?

Ofcoursenot is probably referring to Helena Bonham Carter . . .

I wasn't aware of his voice acting. I just figured it was the same as acting, except you're not on screen. I could be wrong.

Natalie Portman for female
come to think of it, RDJ could do some good voice acting too

He was good for that particular role, but I find that he's a bit lacking in the range department. He's good with cold cruelty and furious anger, but his more up-beat stuff tends to fall flat.

How about
Male Brian Blessed
Female Kathleen Turner.
Brian Blessed! That would be awesome. I kind of imagined him playing a Dwalf in Dragon Age, but Mass Effect protagonist, that could work too.
Don't know anything about Kathleen Turner though.

Christopher Eccleston! Seriously, how could you not want to have the ruthless Nine running around the ME3 universe?
I like how you think LegionMan.

Personally, I wouldn't want a voice for the next protagonist. I would really like if we could have a kind of DA:O type of character.
I know this is a bit risky and expensive, but why not have choices of race and for two voice actors for each race (one male one female). Total of roughly 20 voice actors. None of them have to be big names.
The point of this poll was more to do with what A List actors would be good for a Mass Effect protagonist. I know as well as anyone that one of those actors would engulf 300% of the budget. So sorry guys it will never happen. Especially Eddie Murphy (his hiring costs are astronomical). Forgive me if I'm exaggerating here but Eddie Murphy's acting costs are $5000 an hour.

What about having Mass Effect stop after ME3 and letting the team focus on a completely new game/series?
As for those actors, I wouldn't say no to Christopher Walken in any game.
I read somewhere Bioware is going to announce a new game/serie at the VGA

If they can get Martin Sheen as the Illusive Man, then I don't think this should be a problem. I'm pretty sure they had to empty out their wallets for him too. I probably have some in mind, who I would like to see but I can't think of them. Anyway, I wouldn't mind Grey Delisle either, as I liked her as Catwoman in AC. David Tennant would be interesting as a male character, but I'm sure there are a lot of great voice actors out there who would be awesome for the job.IsaacShep wrote...
90% of the actors from the list would cost fortune to hire. Not gonna happen.

At the year 3500 when the Evil Professor Lazamus the salarian is trying to dominate the galaxy ... a protagonist (vague race) will gather the galactic forces to stop the salarian!
