I haven't been able to update my online profile since August. Unfortunately this cost me the unlock Deep Green from the MotA. I posted on the official MotA thread stating that I was having issues uploading my profile and thus collecting the ring, but to no avail. I'd really like to upload my profile, and I'd like the ring that I fairly earned despite the fact that the promotion has ended.
Couldn't upload profile and so couldn't get Deep Green

This is a game forum. We discuss GAME tech troubles here, gamer to gamer. When you have a SITE problem, you can discuss that in the Site Help Forum, and sometimes learn something there. Official complaints go to EA; we can't do anything about those in here. And if all you want to do is cry and moan about how unhappy you are, you can take that to Off-Topic, since it isn't topical in here, either.

First off, customer service from EA is a joke. And as I said, I requested help in the appropriate SITE forum to no avail. Do you think I'd be asking here if there were official avenues available? No.
Second, since my issue is technical in nature and related to DA2 unlocks, I don't see why this would be an inappropriate place to seek help in figuring why the game data won't upload. It's quite possibly a GAME setting issue. I'm sure others here have had that problem and have fixed it, and I'm sure they can give advice.
If your only advice is to do something I've already done or if your only response is acting like an ass, please don't waste your time. Thanks.

We might can help get you online, if you post some info on your computer and your connection as well as what you have tried to get it online. But as for doing anything about the deep green, talk to EA, this forum is only users with occasional Bioware person looking in. One may be nice or you can try PMing on of the regular posters, like EAagent.

Tell me what information you need, and I will happily provide it.
As for what I've tried:
My last profile update was back in August, so it at least used to work. I've played several times since without the developer console enabled. I've tried toggling all the options in the account settings to ON. When I go to my profile and choose "Activate Online Profile," nothing happens. (Is something supposed to happen?) I'm not sure what else to try.

On my main screen, it has the option to log in, once there it asks for your bioware social network, or ea email and password. So the same email and password you use to log in here enter there. Make sure you don't have any special characters in your password such as $%^&*. Once you do that what happens?? Does it say linked to your account?? Invalid password?? Unable to log in??
What op system do you have, are you on a network with router or directly to modem, and what firewall program are you using?

I can log in to the game just fine, and the account here is the same I use to log into the game.
Windows 7, network with router, and the basic firewall that comes with Windows 7.

Ok, then in the options/account you said you have all three boxes checked to for uploading and linking....so then does it say your game is linked to your EA account and is the info correct??
Also make triple sure you don't have the console enabled as well as any mods that would effect ini or some such, any of which can cause issues.
Then on this site what kind of info is listed under your DA2 games on your profile...it does say you last connected in August??

I have all three boxes checked in the game. My profile connects and logs in when first loading the game. I intentionally played the game without the console enabled because I knew it messed up the profile upload. Under my game profile, it says that the last update was in August.

The next three steps would be to check and make sure window firewall didn't get a bug up it's you know and start blocking DA2.
Then if that is ok, then log out ingame uncheck any auto log in feature, quit the game, restart and log back into your account, and double check it is connected on the account page to your profile. Play the game for a bit and see if it works.
Final thing if nothing else does, would be to contact EA in a live chat because your end seems to then be working an it would then be a site issue and only EA can do anything about that.
