I wanted to make a bloodmage and read all the guides here. Just one thing I seem to miss:
All the authors refer to items, which convert 1 health to 1 mana. Thus, they talk about ratios of 6:1 and more.
All I can find are items (rings, amulets, belts, all armour pieces, staves) which convert 1 health to 0.25 mana, e.g. "rings of lesser cantrips" or the amulet of the Cunari-mage.
When I equip all these items in every available slot, then I have 9 x 0.25 = 2.25. With the 3:1 ratio of the bloodmage-tree I end up with 5.25.
I can live with that, although this prevents me from using other items, like set-armour.
The only explanation could be, that there was a "nerve" of the 1:1 items OR I simply have bad luck and don't find them, although I go shopping after every new level and whenever a shop is close.
Of course there is always the option, that I totally misunderstood the entire math.
Perhaps someone here could enlighten me?
