Holy balls, reading the comments, wow, I had no idea TIM was so hated.

Which speaks of the stupidity of most of the BSN. The hate is completely unwarranted. I could get down with distrust, but not blind hate.

Why?

Most people who've advocated killing him for a year or so would suuddenly spare him, change their arguments around and say he's the galaxy's hero. A lot of players don't do things opposing their ingame morality, despite how much they want to.

One quick example is an argument I had with a friend about Legion's loyalty mission, he argued blowing them up and that brainwashing was bad -until- he found out it was renegade and then switched his viewpoint around to fit his ingame morality.

To answer the OP: If he's still himself, I'll spare him. I want to work with the guy.

If he's indoctrinated, he's too much of a liability.

For what, bringing you back to life?

Look, I hate Cerberus, I hate what they do, I hate what they stand for.  I think TIM is a dangerous sociopath.  However, he's one of the most fascinating characters in the series, and his organization (including the people in it) is not evil as a whole.

I want to find out why Cerberus is so hellbent on killing Shepard and what the hell's up with TIM before I pump him full of lead, because really, said lead-pumping may be not only unnecessary, but detrimental to Shepard's cause.

There's only one named character I want to flat-out kill, and that's Harbinger.

People base their decisions too much on the red and blue, really pathetic at times.

I can even get moderate hate, too.  I mean, the guy basically set you up on Horizon, sent you into a trap on the Collector Ship and didn't say anything because "ooh it might tip the Collectors off," and is responsible for some of the nastiest human (and alien) rights violations in recent history.

But the guy brought your ass back to life and honestly cares about humanity's fate.  Plus he's a suave and crafty bastard.  I mean, come on, you've gotta respect him a little bit, right?

No kidding.  Just because you agree with someone else's definitions of right and wrong most of the time doesn't mean you should substitute it for your own all of the time.

Hey look I also criticized politics and religion with that one, too.

I don't really pay attention to how much renegade and paragon I have till after the game to see what Bioware thinks where I'm at.

If he decides to fight the reapers and help Shepard, I'll spare him, even buy him a beer. Otherwise I think he'll be an excellent subject to test out the new Avenger.

Depends on his motivations for ME3, if he has a legitimate reason for trying to kill me I might consider sparing him. Then again his amazing Team Rocket ability to bungle up every single thing he touches might led me too killing to spare the galaxy from his surprisingly deadly incompetence.

Blue/Red I.WIN buttons were stupid from the beginning. But EAware likes them, becouse people don´t like to think and choose what to say. Just use Blue/Red and game figures it out for you.

Edit: Oops. Too huge pyramid for my only brain cell left.

Depends on the circumstances. A LOT could happen during the war, things we are not aware of now could give us a totally new perspective. Don't get me wrong, I hate Cerberus but having pure hatred for a great character is silly.

Oh, and no matter what at least one of my extremely Renegade Sheperds will be sparing him just a curiosity.

So, you DON'T want to see Hair Binger destroyed?!?! You just said TIM was the only one so... But yeah. When I get to him, I'll give him one chance to redeem himself. Otherwise, he's sent straight through the Omega-4 Relay in a space suit.
