What incentive someone could actually have to buy a game as a download when its not even cheaper?? Steam is only good for the discount they sometimes give for old games.
In my country the digital is cheaper than the hard copy so i have the incentive. Moreover we still don't know if ME3 is going to have pre-order bonus items depending on where you buy the game(like DA2 did). It's still early to talk about incentives

Digital, I only do when I can't get a physical copy, and it still bugs me.
I want the media in hand and offline installation.

20€ less than the hard copy for the exact same in-game content

Why waste money... Makes no sense to me.
Even if buy disc media copy as opposed to digital, all EA games these days you can register with Origin anyways so worst case scenario disc damaged you still get new copy free regardless via Origin. But in mean time you saved yourself money.
ME3 normal PC edition here in UK is around £28 hard copy disc format of which can then register on Origin for access to digital version if disc breaks for free. Digital version itself is £35.
So yeh, hard copy for me. Save myself some money which if even buy ME3 can use that saving towards a DLC (provided it is good [STORY] based DLC no crappy day one DLC nickle and diming and no item packs or even multiplayer map packs which is imho inevitable now).

I'll buy it at retail because I embrace my archaic nature — and while buying discs is still possible. Expect the option to disappear soon.
Us old-timers gotta stick together. In the olden days, we had to walk uphill both ways in the snow to buy games.

You were lucky then, cassette tapes was what I had to get with their 20-30 minute load times which loading wasn't guarenteed in first placed to suceed. Yes I do consider my old comodore 64, amstrad cpc 464 and atari xl/xe/st etc to be PC's aka personal computers.

I am truly humbled. I never use cassettes for anything except text files.
