I would guess the options are : Full dialogue - Paragon dialogue or Renegade dialogue.

I think they need to call RPG mode "Default" mode, to get the point across that it's the full version of the game. As the menu currently stands in the screens i've seen, I think way too many people would accidentally choose a different mode and cut out 50% of the experience.
Yeah, this is a good point (and kinda what I was talking about in the OP).
They sound like three separate mini-campaigns, or something, rather than just game modes that adjust difficulty and conversations.

Do you have any idea how incredible stupid and arrogant this post is?
Is it really that hard to fathom that there might be people who would like to play the game in a different manner than you do?
Then they should go play a different game. That's what Gears of War and CoD are for, not Mass Effect. Why does every game have to get watered down and made more like Modern Warfare and pander to the idiot?! Why are BioWare wasting time on this crap instead of actually making a deep, involving and rich Mass Effect?! First Kinect... then multiplayer... now this! It's God-damned insulting!
Does this in any way influence how you would get to play the game ? - No.
So why the hell do you even care how other people play it?
Because I'm sick of BioWare pandering to the lazy and stupid and wasting time, effort, money and resources in doing so. I'm sick of seeing my once-favourite game developer lowering its standards for the sake of chasing the dollar and watering down its once rich products to pander to the "herp derp" audience. I'm sick of seeing them try and make sure even a brain-damaged two-year old chimp can get to grips with things by making everything brain-numbingly simple. And I'm sick of their whole attempts recently to have their cake and eat it too.
Gods BSN gets dumber for ever day.
What? Does that even make sense?!
If you mean "BSN gets dumber every day" then I agree. But I suspect not for the same reasons. But then I'm just an elitist hater who should "deal with it!" because I'm too butthurt, right?

What's next in this industry? Shooters auto-aiming? Oh wait..
Just stick with action mode next time so we won't bother with your game, Bioware. You can't date everyone at the same time.

I am seriously disgusted by you RPG elitists sometimes. All the dialogue options are still there, just with an auto-select feature for those that don't feel like bothering.

Oh no, they're making something completely optional. Surely I must pick those options even if I don't like them, right?
Pff, some people are too tight ass for their own good.

Uh, there is an RPG mode.
It has everything.

This.
Talk about an overreaction! It's absurd.
How is more people playing a damn good game a *bad* thing? .

That's it. That tears it. There is just no way in H*** to please the RPG elitest crowd. Why don't you just come out and say it: We're not happy unless we're the only ones BW tries to make happy, and we can't BE happy.
There. I feel all better.

If you don't like, can't manage the main point of a game, just don't buy it. Simple as that. There are tons of other pure action games out there and 95% of them has better action than ME2.

You know what? Screw it--everyone's going to play the game exactly the same because my tastes are better than yours.ADLegend21 wrote...
God forbid someone plays the game different than you.
Shepard is now a female paragon soldier. Garrus is the only love interest. Hardcore is the only difficulty.
Because this game is just for me now. Deal with it.

Yeah, because the RPG parts of the Mass Effect trilogy are the only parts that attracted the fans.
Nevermind the silly little character fanbases that were established throughout the games, no those characters don't mean anything to someone who might enjoy action.

ME3 has 3 settings you can choose from before starting the SP campaign. And 1 of these settings actually pushes you through the game without ever clicking dialogue option?

I guess someone did not bother to notice the rpg mode that you can choose. It's like this is the over reaction Bioware fear would happen..... Glad thisis not the majority reaction to these modes.Ultramarinus wrote...
