Rose-tinted glasses at its very best there with that pile of pretentiousness.
Yes, let's go back to calling each other names and adjectives again. I'm sure it's going to be good for the discussion.

Mash the spacebar really quickly next time you're playing ME 1 or 2. That's Action Mode for you.
Not really. Action mode won't be automatically skipping dialogues.

Oh wow! Another Borderlands, Brink, RAGE clone! Like we need another gritty, overly-brown shooter with haggard futuristic vehicles set in a desert. *yawn*

I have to say, seeing the image from BioWare's supposed new IP isn't doing much to convince me they still want to make strong RPGs.

Yes because that one shot truly did speak volumes as to what it was going to be all about.

Personally I won't mind if Bioware starts to depart from the RPG crowds.

A teaser image that was released for the new Bioware game annouuncement at the VGAs. It's a desert, there's a car flipping, lots of dust and some poor fellow is being launched through the air. Not much to judge on and I certainly won't jump on the "Its a RAGE clone!" bandwagon for a single image.1136342t54 wrote...

Which is quite sensible.
Then again, I've been expected to jump on the "WOW this will be awesome" bandwagon based on a mere fraction, an unpolished and unfinished fraction, that was the demo. Then I got called out on it when I refused to do so.
So, them bandwagons, they go both directions...

That is why you don't just assume random crap either way. Wait for more info.

I think it's not going to be a rpg. I think that Bioware wants to make games like Uncharted series. You can see it coming with the iconic looks, Voiced Pcs, and a more cinematic game.

I have to admit my experience has been similiar, they can have the fickle fps bunch if they succeed in drawing them over.Lucifer_Cheney wrote...
Three months ago, my interest in ME3 was bordering on obsession. Now, my level of anticipation has been scaled down to that of "meh". I should thank Bioware as my expectations have been tempered to the point where I no longer care what they do for the sake of diversifying and expanding their target market.

Bioware said they like stories and want to focus more into story like games. I'm thinking they may start focusing less on gameplay like DAO or DA2 and even ME3 and have it more linear. The story and choices could get better.

That's what they are going to do. It's going to be more a linear action game.(Which I hate by the way.)1136342t54 wrote...
