Made a website, a character database. Just felt to share the link with the community, maybe someone want to try it out and it will help me out to find bugs. :P

Just to mention it, I tried and tried to find a official online site with all the characters easy to browse and search but no luck, seriously? Thought it would be a easy to find feature... anyway!

Site URL:
http://vlacula.no-ip.com/dao/

It's on a PC at home so if it shows 404 it means I have turned it off so it don't bother me while sleeping. :P Anyway it uses a Java client to fetch 3 files:
1) ..\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters\\*character*\\*character*.xml
2) ..\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters\\*character*\\*character*.jpg
3) ..\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters\\*character*\\*character*_portrait.png
Now if files 2 or 3 (or both) are missing it will not error, most important file is the XML (it contains all the information needed to build a profile).
After that it simply uploads them on the site and the site engine takes care of the rest. :)

On "Upload" you can find two links, one is a compiled (in AutoIT) EXE file for the newbies, simply click and the Java app runs (as long Java is installed). The other is a plain ZIP with the JAR, libraries and a BAT file that launches the application.

So far two arguments at start-up are supported (no GUI interface yet, sorry):
arg1 = is character name, if you got multiple characters and want to avoid being questioned what to pick and upload entering a name here will make the application automatically pick that name (as long it's valid of course).
arg2 = seconds between each upload cycle (30+)

My plan is to have several upload options, (1) download the java program as a JAR with a BAT, (2) download it as one EXE, (3) java applet, you don't download anything but instead the application runs on the page.

Anyway I've wasted enough of your time. If it's illegal to make custom profiling sites simply delete my topic -I didn't know.
