Playing DAO Ultimate on a Windows 7 PC
I am stuck after the Landsmeet - I tried this twice from saved games that started before the Landsmeet with the same result

I persuaded my way into the Landsmeet with the intention of having Alistair share the throne with Anora. However, Anora denounced me and the brawl started.

Won the brawl and the duel commenced

I won the duel and then I am stuck. Instead of expected dialogues on filling the throne and continuing the game, Loghain starts a conversation which has "Why do you hate Orlais so much" "Are you really going to kill Anora", "what were you going to do if you won", and "How well did you know King Maric" as topics. All of these end with Loghain saying "We really should move on - we have much to do".  The Loghain dialog looks like something that would occur if he were in my party, but I have not had this option.  There is no way out of the Landsmeet chamber, with the door not being open. Talking to various characters (Eamon, etc.) brings up what looks like a corrupted screen image and dialogue typical of what happened before the Landsmeet.

What is going on here?? All this time and I am stuck!!

Are you using mods? That might account for the problem.

The only mods I have are what came with DAO - it has the downloaded quests standard. Otherwise I am not sure what you mean.

It does sound like a technical problem.

Not sure how you feel about backtracking, but if you have a save that was made before going into the landsmeet, you might try replaying that section of the game.  I get occasional random glitches on my PC that are resolved by doing that.

Unfortunately I tried backtracking and going through the whole sequence again, no joy. Starting over again (my wife hates this game) with a new character class.
