How many people here may forgo playing the demo in January...due to Vanderloo just not being Shep to them?....As far as I'm aware we can't export our Sheps into the Demo?....For those to whom Shep is female only? For those so used to their own Sheps custom faces (male or female), that they just can't imagine running a Shep without that face?

Not a big problem at all.

I'll be avoiding the demo fully anyway... Don't want anything to spoil my gaming feelings when I open the box on 9th of March

I'm avoiding the demo entirely (plus the recent leak) simply due to not wanting any of the story spoiled... want to experience everything properly when it comes out.

Though I admit, Sheploo doesn't feel like shep to me... any shep other than my own Evelyn Shepard feels like an imposter... the demo would feel weird the whole time if I had to play with a Shep not my own.

I'm with Cpt-Brit, I'm avoiding the demo to experience full wowage when the game releases unless the game is rubbish and the wowage meter goes down.

Having already played demo of ME3 at Gamescom countless times, I'll have no issue in playing whatever demo we get in January. It's only time I would play as Sheploo anyway, so no biggy.

I'll probably play the co-op demo to avoid spoilers, and to gain a sense of how the gameplay operates.

Wait ... I think I once read you are allowed to import your ME2 Shepard to ME3 and play one mission or so. At least that's what I believe I've read a while ago.

Just in case it's not possible - I don't mind. The demo won't have the most important stuff for me, just a tiny portion. So I don't care if I can't use my Shepard with Ash as LI and Council saved and Wrex alive - it doesn't matter. It's a demo and will keep me busy till release.

You have hit the nail on the head for me too Hather....this is how I feel also...I have three manSheps, they are almost identical to each other...Shep has looked pretty much the same to me since I first picked up ME1, just tweakings here and there, perfecting...I just can't imagine Shep any other way now.

I have no problems playing whatever demo comes out. Will have to decide to download or not when it is released.

Without my Shep there it won't feel right and i will kind of be disconnected but i can survive with Sheploo the time between demo and release

The Co-op demo I am definitely going to try out myself.

That wouldn't stop me. I'd still like to try the demo just to get a feel for the game.

I'm glad I picked default Shep just so I don't have to be ridiculous about things like this. As well as avoiding Bioware's "plastic face" custom characters.

May be we can export our Shepard, because this demo is not the finalized one.

Yea the custom charactors looked a bit pants so i just cba and thought sod it and went with the default look and I have done in every playthrough...

I don't care that other people have the same face as my Shep... These are 'mine', the choices they have made have been made because I wanted them too thats what makes my Sheps mine... not the face.

I'm not really that greatly concerned myself with the wait between January and March...a lot happens at that time of year in my house, time flies.

That was an early-release, unpolished, internal, half-finished demo. I'm pretty sure there's still time (Two whole months) to add stuff to it. Like an option to import your Shepard. Which would be awesome beyond words.

I would be very surprised if we could....with it being just a demo....though I would probably give the demo a go if I can import my own Shep.

Oh bloody hell. It's a demo. It's supposed to give you a taste of what the game's going to play like. Still, to each their own, I guess. It just seems to me that this is a rather trivial reason to deny yourself the demo.

Right. Simply not interested in playing it without a functional import feature.

It's called immersion...I would guess especially jarring maybe for a number of die hard femShep players.
