I'm starting up another run as I've missed Origins. I've always been a fan of DW Rogues just as the rogue talents seem to augment the rogues so well. What are some pros of the DW Warrior that you warrior fans like?

Combat arts like whirlwind or punisher make better use of weapons with higher damage. It is as simple as that.

For instance, you usually talent spam as a 2H warrior just because the execution time of the moves is shorter than the regular attack duration of a 2H weapon. Best example would be Sunder Arms/Armor: you get 2 strikes in quick succession - way faster than simply attacking the target. If you chain your abilities right, you get A LOT more damage output.

The same goes for dual wield warriors. They rely on doing damage using two longswords/axes with their talents. Whereas as a rogue, you'd be better off just backstabbing your enemy with quick daggers enhanced by runes and poison and Momentum.

It is fun to play a DW warrior with high str/dex. Let your mage cast cone of cold and follow up with Riposte, Cripple and Punisher to shatter your targets. Use taunt and follow up with Whirlwind.

Dont estimate your DW warrior auto attacks with daggers though! If you choose Berserker and Reaver as specs, you will get a HUGE damage boost to those daggers when coupled with Haste or Swift Salve. Dual Striking, a usually fairly useless talent for a dw rogue, really shines here.

If you have played a lot of dw rogues before, I suggest you try dw warrior and see for yourself, if the playstyle floats your boat. Another idea for a warrior based warden would be an elven female 2H warrior. In later levels, 2H warriors are almost as tanky as sworld & shield warriors while dealing more damage. It is fun to see a small elf woman soloing the deep roads with a sword as big as herself and in general, I find 2H warriors the most rewarding to play (weak in the beginning, a devastating unstoppable monster late into the game).

DW warriors are generally front-line fighters. No need for sneaking around and backstabbing something while it's beating on the tank; a DW warrior can hold it's own toe-to-toe! Powerful and durable all in one, I honestly think my DW warrior is my toughtest fighter - you cut through mobs like a buzzsaw.
