It seems to me that a troll would more likely be the one who constantly posts threads in an overly hyperbolic and sarcastic manner and then spams passive-aggressive attacks to people who reasonably or unreasonably disagree with him. Not the one who smacks them in the face with a verbal argument without being a contrarian.

Hmm... So where is the sarcasm and hyperbole in my original statement? I love it how anyone who doesn't agree with you Phaedon is considered as a troll. Most notably the multiplayer discussion. Before it was announced, reports were coming in that it was in the game. People who were for the inclusion multiplayer were constantly attacked by you and others who shared your opinion that multiplayer was bad and isn't going to be in ME3. You even went as far as saying in your little thread that Bioware confirmed that there was no multiplayer in ME3 when in reality all they did was dodge the question. Even when the magazine covers were starting to show multi early October, you still trolled people who were getting excited about it. You're one to talk boy.  It's quite evident that people have reasonably disagreed with you, and yet you still barked down the possibility of multiplayer in ME3. In my case however, I've yet to see a convincing response from the participants in this thread to the concerns I've outlined in the last 12 pages or so. But keep trying. :)

I guess I have to agree with Polite on this one.

Bioware already allows more player choice than anyone in the industry.

Then you obviously dont played many games in your life...

BW lets you play as being nice or a total jerk but work towards the same end but in Bethesda games like the Fallout series you can be totally and completely evil and cruel if you want.  Paragon or Renegade, in ME, you're saving the galaxy either way.  In Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, you can either be a savior to the land who helps everyone you can or a brutal bastard who enslaves and murders everyone in sight.

BW has an edge on Bethesda on the cinematic experience of their games but we'll see what Skyrim dishes out to give BW/EA some competition on that aspect.

I agree Sheperd is now a pre-defined character with a very strict black/white, good/bad system but since we are in the minority we have to sit back and take it because Eaware doesn't care about RPG anymore... Unfortunate truth....

This is just a beta, not to mention the first 30 minutes of the game when the Reapers are attacking. What are you going to say "NO! I'm not going to help. I'm joining with the Reapers!" There really isn't much room for a conversation at the start. During the Sur'kesh part there's more dialogue. I assume there's just going to be an increasing amount as you progress through the game.

@PoliteAssassin - I agree with you about the auto-dialogue in the beginning and its something I've found troubling because it takes control out of my hands and puts it into the devs in a game with my Shep.
I understand the logic and reasoning for devs wanting better cinematics/flow, but I didn't buy a movie or a book for $60, I bought a video game to interact with. Cinematics have their place in some games, but recently BW's been on an roll with them with their latest in the end of DA2, Act 2 where I get to watch Hawke for about 7 or so minutes talking without my input. I don't want to see that start in ME3 with Shepard.
