DE:O in my opinion is the best game I've bought in probably two years, but now that I have played through it twice something just feels lacking and I hope that some future DLC fixes this. To elaborate, I did my first play as a elf DW rogue and ended up at level 20. Second time through I tried to learn from the mistakes of my 1st try. I made another DW rogue but really tried to do more side quests, get more rare gear, and perfect my spec. I also bumped up the difficulty to hard. I enjoyed it, but when I was done I still ended up at level 21 and to be honest the rare gear i spent so much more time trying to get really seemed to make no difference. Now there is no option to play through again with the same character and scaled enemies, and any "side quest" DLC seems like it would be rather insignificant to a character that is already rather powerful. So I guess what I am getting at is that my hope is future DLC will present a challenge that makes the extra trouble of getting higher levels or better gear worth the extra time. If not I really do not see how level or gear is relevant in any way. Still I can't say I feel like it was time wasted as I had fun getting more items and xp, I just think a way to make doing so more relevant would make it even sweeter.
DLC should make level and gear more relevant.
