I think that both Romances are well done in Mass Effect and I am a little concerned about Ashley in Mass Effect 3 her character at least I hope whoever took over writing her character does her justice and doesn't completely change her.

And in my opinion the best Pairs are Paragon Shepard/Ashley and Renegade Shepard/Liara as well so to have to choose pick who ever you like most.

Also if you want the most developed Romance than I would say pick Liara I mean with the LOTSB DLC Shepard/Liara are back in a full Relationship before Mass Effect 3 even begins so there won't be any work to get back together like us Ashley Romancers will no doubt have to go through.

Not fully concur. It appears as if Liara!romance is the best developed one in the ME series, but that's just because of the LotSB DLC. Without that one, Liara!romance is on the same level like Ashley/Kaidan romance. Also all three ME1-romances are pretty much non-existant for those guys who never played ME1 (PS3 guys anyone?).

Without giving too much away, but from what I got so far, ME1 romances will play a big role in ME3 and we're going to see satisfying conclusions for all three of them - which means they'll be on the same level. Which is something I like - my preferred LI won't suffer the "not-Liara-malus" anymore

I have the same problem
In ME1 i had a romace with Liara.
In ME3 I try to be with Ashley.
I don't know which one to choose.

Stay with Liara, if you want the "full deal romance".
Ashley's romance feels great till middle of the game ... and then you just have very few scenes and no interaction between those scenes till the dreaded ending :\\

On the other hand, if Ash is more your type, go for her.
