I'm expecting Hackett actually. That seems a lot more likely.

In the demo, where Anderson and Shepard are watching the Reapers tear up London, the Admirals wonder how the reapers managed to bypass the defense fleets so easily and Anderson adds the question "Why haven't we heard from Admiral Hackett?"

In addition there's also the speculation that arrival was a huge set-up for Shepard.

Pretty much this. I don't know if I ever bought into the Arrival Set-up theory, but the fact that Hackett was brought up as AWOL during the demo raised some major red flags. I'm expecting him to either be indoctrinated or die in ME3.

It would be unfortunate, but not entirely unexpected. Anderson has always been the one man who had your back, regardless of what the rest of the universe believed. However I always felt that for a man of his background and experience, he had a bit too much blind faith in Shepard and the existence of the Reapers. Sure he hated Saren, but to assume that hatred was strong enough for him to suddenly believe in a race of gigantic, sentient, genocidal, space robots seems like a bit of a stretch to me.

Either way, the "Luke, I'm your Father" twist they keep alluding to could be anything.

I was actually thinking about Kaidan being indoctrinated,I mean we keep hearing about how heart tearing this game will be.

And what's more heart tearing then fighting your LI.I know it would really rip out my shepards heart:(

As much as I like Hackett, sad to say I can see this happening.

I can't believe he is still in an Alliance uniform and not in a red jumpsuit wearing handcuffs. Indoctrination is more than he deserves.

you know... this makes a lot of sence.  a LOT of sence.  oh hell....

I doubt they will indocrinate VS though especialy if VS is an LI, too much of a troll move (and they kept talking about rewards for staying faithful and then there are recordings from Sbarge talking about steamy bits etc).

Unfortunately, I agree.  Hackett's the rat, Anderson dies nobly, Joker gets Washed, and there's a 50% chance of either Shep or your LI dying in the end if you're not careful.

Those are my predictions, anyway.

if Joker says "I'm a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar" and dies due to random debris.. I'm... I'm... I'll think of something >_>

If Joker goes out, It'll be along side Shepard, on the Normandy about to kamekazi the final Reaper, or something uber like that. Maybe they'll have a dying conversation as the Ship starts it's charge.

Joker: NEver thought I'd go out this way.
Shepard: How did you imagine going out?
Joker: In bed, asleep with a woman or a dozen.
Shepard: Heh. Sounds ideal.
Joker: What about you?
Shepard: I don't care. I just wanted to see the last Reaper fall with my own eyes. Then, I don't know. Drift through the verse without purpose?
Joker: Sailing the Normandy into space unknown.
Shepard: I would have loved that. Sorry I got everyone mixed up in this mess.
Joker: It's alright. Dying beside you isn't a bad way to go out.
Shepard: Thanks...
Joker: Its been a hell of a ride.
Shepard: That it has, Jeff. That is has. *ship goes boom.*

...that Anderson is going to be indoctrinated? They leave him behind on Earth with the Reapers attacking and invading, so the idea that a character needs to be around Reaper technology long enough for the process to work could go out the window. =|

I doubt that theory has been tested with dozens of Reapers around, getting in on the fun.

I can't see how someone left on Earth won't get indoctrinated/huskified/killed. Too many Reapers per unit of population.

Sadly I can see Hackett being Indoctrinated and killing himself like Fai Dan.

His last words would be.

"Fifth Fleet, out"

Cue emotional music.

I think they might just do that. Killing that kid was so cheap and blatant when the Normandy hovers along watching being ignored by the reapers.

I didn't think I'd see someone else who actually liked Udina. Having said that how is it you can like Anderson less than him?

Among other things Udina's politics coincide with my Shepard's. His speech in the renegade council sacrificed ending made me love the son of a b!tch.

Co-sign. Anderson saying "why haven't we heard from Hackett?" in the leaked intro kind of raised a red-flag with me.

Good lord I hope not. Too many will be dying already. Besides, that plot device had been used much too much before.
