I'm doing another playthrough of me1 and my war hero shepard just spoke to balak. She got this dialogue choice about Elysium;

but I saw a vid online that gave shepard this dialogue choice instead;

Like Elysium? + bloody terrorists!

I assumed both was war hero dialogue (because they were so similair) but is the second one shown if your shep has an akuze background?

it's probably a paragon/renegade thing
I have noticed that dialogue options can be different depending which your Shepard has been most leaning towards.
It looks like you got the paragon version and the vid shoes the renegade version.
(That is just a theory in this case)

Interesting. I thought because the akuze background wasn't Batarian specific he/she had to mention elysium but what you said makes more sense. In that case what DOES Balak say to an akuze shepard?

No,it has to do with the psychological profile shepardt have.
