I didn't really get the quest as to how to poison him, I just kept putting on some random ingredients. But I don't even know if it has an effect or what. To anyone who could give me an insight on as to how to do it, your help is appreciated.

Thanks, but I just don't really get the quest? I mean, is there a point to this quest? Does it affect the battle with Prosper and Leopold? Or its just to get some extra exp? Because it just says he gets sluggish and all but doesn't seem to affect the actual battle.

Yeah, Leopold gets sluggish when you first have to fight him. But this only lasts a short time and Leopold shakes it off. It gives you a couple minutes of breathing room, but that's about it.

Leopold turn green and holds still. This allows you and your party to get several good hits in. It doesn't last that long so use it while you can.

Doesn't it slow down his pursue speed aswell?
