When I load up the Orgins starting screen and press play I get this messege: "The game cannot launch because of a misconfiguration. Please reinstall your game and try again."
I'm running the digital version of DA:O Ultimate edition from the Impulse client.

I have reinstalled, the same error contines to pop up. It loads fine on my old laptop.
I have removed my mods, this problem still occurs. I have compared my old laptop's files and this one, they are all there. The only thing I have moved to the new laptop is one save file.

The character creator works like a peach, no error messeges or anything.
I wouldn't have problem with comptley wiping the DA files from my laptop and trying again except with my internet connection, it takes four days for me to download this game. I would prefer not to have to do that.

Here's what the Config>Summary looks like:

Processer:       Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz
Clock speed:       2188 MHz
Physical Memory:      7.89 GB
Display adapter:       Intel® HD Graphics Family
VRAM:         -256813056 bytes
Driver Version:
Sound Adapter:        Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
Driver Version       6.0.1.6312

Operating System:        Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
DirectX Version:      DirectX 11 (Aug2009) or later

Any help would be extremely appreciated.

EDIT: I've been doing a little more comparison and I think getting the 270.61 version NVIDIA drivers will fix my problem.
Perhaps I should have waited four hours to post this topic. ugh.

If you have one of the odd nVIDIA "switch-on" GPUs in a laptop, that could be it. If you tried to keep Dx9 from being installed, it could be that, also. The "Misconfiguration" error message is a common theme that you can look up in the forum archives, but don't waste time with the onsite Finder function.  It's broken, and was designed that way.  Use a professional Search, and add the needed redirection:
