So finally I have managed to read the stolen throne and the calling. I enjoyed reading them very much and I think I even managed to understand everything that I needed to understand. By "understanding" I mean that I was able to translate the needed words in my mind and all. There are some things that have come to my mind and I wonder if any of you thinks the same way or is it just me alone.

Loghain´s betrayal. The things Flemeth tells to Maric about Loghain and all. I really tried to think but I cant think of anything that could be viewed as "betrayal", at least not directly. The only thing that does come to my mind is what happened with Katriel in the end. It looked like Loghain wanted it to happen and that he manipulated Maric into becoming the man HE wanted him to become, but Im not sure even about that. I felt sorry for Katriel even though she was responsible for many deaths.

I wonder if some other things happened during the times that are not mentioned in the books. Loghain seemed a different man in the calling and he seemed to behave differently towards Maric and everything.

I look the player´s position in DAO and I cant help but notice some similarities with stolen throne. You and Alistair are hunted by the "ruler" of Ferelden, Alistair is the possible heir for the throne and a threat to your enemies, you are fighting to save the country and are building an army just like in the book. In a way Alistair is "Maric" and the player character is "Loghain", who can encourage his/her friend to become king. Is it just me or do you perhaps have some similar thoughts?

Alistair´s "true" mother. There have been discussions about this for many times and there will propably be more. Im not sure if its possible, but I truly do wonder that what if FIONA is Alistairs mother really. All the things she says in the end and other things the book mentions. "The boy even looked a bit like Cailan...", "I want him to be fully human and not in line for your throne, not competing with your other son...", "I want him to have a fresh start...", Let him think his mother human, and dead." What if its all a cover up to make sure Loghain and some other people dont know the truth?

Has there been any official info about the matter?

My references to the books may not be fully accurate. I have read them only once and I dont remember every single detail. I will read them again at some point.
