Sorry I can't have faith in someone who screws me over because he smells a "wider audience" somewhere.

DA2 was a bad game, I admit. But with Mass Effect 3, I think it'll be better now , in some ways.
EDIT: Added more and fixed typo.

I hear ya buddy, but I'm afraid BSN won't change. It'll always be filled with "fans" who jump to negative conclusions at the earliest opportunity.

It is up to them to prove to me that I should buy their product. If theey are incapapble of doing so, it is not my fault for bringing up concerns that I believe are valid.UBER GEEKZILLA wrote...

1. There is way too much thread hijacking in this forum. If any thread goes on long enough, it eventually derails into a "BioWare no longer makes RPGs" argument.
2. While the BioWare critics keep complaining, eventually the fans get worn down. It gets tiring fighting the same battle on the forums over and over. And BioWare has made it pretty clear that they are filtering out all the noise, so there isn't really a worry that some of the haters are going to unduly ruin the final product.

what happened to this community....i see so many people against bioware now.after so many years of brilliant games people have turned on them for ONE dissapointing game( DA2).....its ridiculuos....cant we all have some faith in the developers who brought us KOTOR, jade empire, dragon age, n mass effect......cant we all just chill have not jump to conclusions...seriosuly.
Also the Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises each has their own separate development teams. But the negative nancies that want to be negative about ME 3 love to say "but DA 2" when they want to be overreactive and negative about ME 3 a game that still doesn't even come out for four more months (and the wait is killing me)

I mean, I have no doubt that ME3 will be a decent game, but I have little faith left in the premise/promise of our choices actually mattering and changing the story and the universe. If I find the latter to be something I value and a good enough reason to lose faith in the product as a whole, no matter how good the new additions are (and I will admit, GAW looks good), then that is my God given right.
Same goes for things on the Dragon Age side of the fence: It's nice and all that there are people working on it with a repertoire that goes all the way back to Shadows of Amn, but if I choose to judge the team on their more recent work, then I will do so.

No matter what others b*tch about, I'm behind BioWare 100%.
Also, ME2 > ME1.

DA II wasn't well accepted and was a bit of a disappointment to many. Much of that is a result of individual expectations, some so extreme that they claim the developers had broken their promises, except that the developers never make such promises. So, hey, they tried something different and it didn't work out too well. The last I saw, there isn't a AAA developer out there who's every single title is up to fan expectations.
ME 3 looks to me like they are working very hard on releasing a very smooth and polished finale to the ME trilogy from what I have seen in the unfinished and unpolished beta that got leaked and spread like wildfire on the Web.
