I enjoyed him. I was originally disappointed with him because he wasn't as deep a character as Wrex but I have come to enjoy him very much and is now my token Krogan for the Normandy (when Wrex isn't around) Plus who doesn't love the random moments during a fight when you hear: "I.....AM....KROGAN!!!" and see him charge by. I want him, Legion and Mordin back on the Normandy for ME3 more than anyone.

Wouldn't it bew cool to have Wrex and Grunt recruitable.They would be my family
Me=mother
Wrex=father
Grunt=son
Imagine them both on the battlefield.

Plus we could enjoy saying the line: "My squad is pure Krogan. You should be in awe." right before we have them shotgun a Cerberus Trooper in the face

:lol:

I didn't like him at first. Kept reminding me how much I missed Wrex. On my semi-forced second playthrough, I came to like him more. Possibly because it wasn't right after I played ME1 hence not missing Wrex as much.

Generally, he's cool by himself, but next to wrex, he pales.

WANT.

Anyway, Grunt's my brogan from another krogan.  He's hilarious.  And cute.  And deeper than I thought he'd be.

Grunt is voiced by one of my favorite voice actors, and is well written. I thoroughly enjoyed him, and he is amongst my favorite characters from ME2.

He's a lot of fun to have in the squad. Funny banter with him. Not as awesome as Wrex but still cool. Grunt went a down a few points on the respect-o-meter when on the Citadel he says he doesn't like Ramen, he called it worms. LOL!

To be honest, I really disliked Grunt the first few playthroughs...

...and it wasn't until the DLC content came out that I really started loving the lug. His dossiers in Shadow Broker opened my eyes to this new side of his character (his hilariously childish, obliviousness to the world's functions despite his crazy bloodlust).

I really hope ME3 expands on his childlike side--it's totally what makes his character. That, and I want my Shepard to have a "child", and this is probably the closest we're gonna get.

Heh. My first introduction into Mass Effect was one of the Commercials. Specifically Grunt (altho I didn't know that at the time) standing there saying: I like fighting. It's what I do (or something like that). At that time, I thought him to be an enemy in the game.

Then I got ME 1. Found out that I liked Wrex, and wanted a Krogan on-board the Normandy, so Grunt was allowed to awaken. Shortly afterwards, I figured out just who (and what) that creepy alien from the commercial was.

Yes, I like Grunt.

Nope.
He is my least favourite character. Stupid, childish,
violent... and he does not like Turians, which is enough reason to hate
him. :P

Sadly he's one of the squadmates I really had no trouble with dying on the suicide mission. I didn't hate him but he just never really seemed that special to me. Sadly I think Wrex spoiled me that way when it comes to krogan...

Still though he survived on my canon run and that's all that matters. :-)

I didn't think I'd like Wrex Jr. one little bit when I got the game. Through the game, he grew on me like a fungus.

He was fine, I would even say I enjoyed his character in ME2. I would still have rather had Wrex on the team instead.

The leaked material so far has no information on the guy
I hope they didn't cut him. He should be with Wrex ideally

Actually that's not true.  Grunt is associated with a certain mission that ends with one hell of a choice for Shepard to make especially for Grunt fans.

I dunno, Grunt never struck me as a child. More like a jock roommate with the personality of Dread Pirate Roberts.
"Goodnight Shepard, I'll see you in the morning....If I don't kill you, that is."
After a while, the thought that he might try to kill Shepard strangely endeared him to me. I also rather like the way he prefers the simple things in life. A gun, armor, a monosyllabic name and enemies to kill in horrific ways...ah, good times

Grunt had great lines and I liked his trash talking during fights second to Legion. Like when you help the salarian with medigel in Dantius Towers "Really Shepard? This guy?"

Not really no. He never stayed in cover when ordered. He'd charge out no matter what you told him to do. His personality left a lot to be desired for. Also he had no biotics... I like Wrex. Grunt can go and die for all I care.

I liked Grunt and his concept a lot. Trouble being that he is inconsistent, sometimes his comments are as perceptive as other squadmates, when all he has are his tank imprints.
He could have been stellar if he consequently learned stuff througout the game while playing the childish death machine to the hilt.
Also he suffers from being Wrex's replacement of course.

His great. He only wants to fight. No daddy issue (Cuz he has none), no friend or debt to worry about and his always cracking a joke. Plus he hates Turian which is +1 from me.
