Thane's mission. Bioware already said that he appears on a differnet planet on a hostage rescue mission and you can cure him so odds are, the Citadel mission was changed as well.

Ohhhh, right, totally forgot about that. As it's been said countless times - the leak was from an early draft, lots of things have changed since then.

The leak was very obviously an early, rough draft. As usual, reactionary idiots are reactionary.

The fact that the plot ideas are even inside an 'early draft' makes it scary. And this is taking BW's word for it i.e. that the leaked info is indeed an early draft.

Its like reading "the device will be powered by manure" on Steve Jobs' leaked iphone design notes. Sure, the final product didn't turn out that way, but you'd still be worried no?

The source is in the Confirmed Features thread, too tired to remember where it was...

Basically, Thane helps you rescue some hanar scientists on a planet called Invictus. The scientist is working on a cure for him.

This is entirely different to his mission in the leaked info, which basically ends in him killing "Slimy Backstabbing Character X" in a blaze of glory.

No, not at all.

Being a writer myself, there are times when I've looked back on initial outlines of my work and said, 'Wow, this stuff SUCKED.', but they were outlines of stories that became something I liked in the end.

Bioware games have superb writing. I have every faith that ME3 will not disappoint.

Wasn't that a totally fake story someone posted when Xbox World Reveal was announced? (before MP was confirmed?)

I don't remember - maybe go back and check the source?

That's the largest inconsistency I can think of between what devs have said is happening and what the leaked story says is happening.

If it's true, it means that things have been changed since it was made.

We'll never know what was real, fake, false or changed.Probably right now Bioware is in deep meetings about changes to prove leak was a lie.Unless it was a official leak to build hype for the game.I can't get on xbox live forum last 12 hours,so they could be on double secret probation.

What changes? The game is out in 4 months. The story is locked & final. Unless they delaye the game like a year or half a year, there will be no major changes now.

I'm willing to bet the leaked outline is ancient, considering the Earth intro scene and Sur'Kesh scene were planned with some significantly different details than the demo/beta-demo were constructed (though there were some similarities, such as the presence of Kirrahe in the leaked demo and the leaked outline; but then again, Kirrahe could have been suppressed from the public demos to avoid spoilers).

I'm pretty sure most of that stuff is false. I mean their was some really stupid bull **** in some of the things I read.
