Ohhhh, right, totally forgot about that. As it's been said countless times - the leak was from an early draft, lots of things have changed since then.
The fact that the plot ideas are even inside an 'early draft' makes it scary. And this is taking BW's word for it i.e. that the leaked info is indeed an early draft.
Its like reading "the device will be powered by manure" on Steve Jobs' leaked iphone design notes. Sure, the final product didn't turn out that way, but you'd still be worried no?

The source is in the Confirmed Features thread, too tired to remember where it was...
Basically, Thane helps you rescue some hanar scientists on a planet called Invictus. The scientist is working on a cure for him.
This is entirely different to his mission in the leaked info, which basically ends in him killing "Slimy Backstabbing Character X" in a blaze of glory.

No, not at all.
Being a writer myself, there are times when I've looked back on initial outlines of my work and said, 'Wow, this stuff SUCKED.', but they were outlines of stories that became something I liked in the end.
Bioware games have superb writing. I have every faith that ME3 will not disappoint.

Wasn't that a totally fake story someone posted when Xbox World Reveal was announced? (before MP was confirmed?)ElitePinecone wrote...

That's the largest inconsistency I can think of between what devs have said is happening and what the leaked story says is happening.
If it's true, it means that things have been changed since it was made.
