I am proud of what Bioware's team has accomplished, no matter what happens in the game, no matter what outcome, I don't care if I have to drag a mass relay into sol and blow it up to kill all the reapers.

You created a dream game and series, something I have never played like this before, so keep up at the hard work and keep faith in what you do. :D

Microsoft definitely owes Bioware for this sh*t. Outdated or not, we can assume at least part of it is true now.  Well, *slaps self in face* engaging in media blackout from here on out, hopefully for my own sake and that of others who read it, it is VERY outdated and has been changed significantly.

On another note, I like a majority of what I saw and I'm pretty positive I'll force myself to forget most of it by the time March rolls around ;)

Worst part is, it's not even Bioware's fault...if i was Microsoft, i'd be on the lookout for a horde of angry Canadians heading their way right about now.

Thanks.

Feeling awful that this has happened to Bioware.

Yeah, seriously, this sucks.

It's like seeing how the magic trick works before the magician even does it.

So some of it's true? Here's hoping it's the not-horrible stuff.

So you want them to redo 90% of the writing this late in development???

No, just... you'd understand if you read the spoilers. Although if you do, you'll probably wish you hadn't.

Mega fail. From what i'm hearing, the game is linear as DA2 aswell.

How do you get that from a datamine?  All someone did was read over story files in the game data.  Not to mention most info is oversimplified with heavy subjectiveness and in point form.

I was lucky enough to avoid pretty much everything with only a quick glance here and there.

Damn -- You guys need to get your **** together. Pronto!

It was out of date files that needed to be hacked out of the beta, the core file of which was functional for less than a day before Microsoft sent out a kill code that actually corrupted all copies of the files within consoles(mine included). So how were they meant to expect that not only would someone get it off their Xbox, but then have the skills to burrow into encoded files at the core of them demo.

That's not surprising, I'd be pissed as hell.

It's gonna get even crazier. If even half of the stuff (tons and tons of detailed story/mission descriptions) posted over at that Russian Bioware community site is true then the game has been seriously spoiled.

No, same leak. Just turns out it was worse than we previously thought.

Thanks for the heads up.

I think though with all the leaks that are going around to be safe I think I'm not gonna visit the forum as much because I really really really really don't want to spoil the story at all and there is a chance of someone saying something in title of thread or coming across a random post that spoils something.

I love how the files are "out of date", yet we'll still be spoiled if we read them. Yay damage control!
Epic/Microsoft did the same thing with the leaked Gears 3 campaign... Every plot point remained the same, even though Epic/MSFT assured us they "didn't reflect the final experience."

:?

That being said, I think I'm going to slowly begin avoiding this site as we get nearer to the release date. I had Gears 3 spoiled entirely for me by some douchebags on the Epic forums; I really don't want the same to happen here. ME3's story is far more important than Gears 3's.

Have spoilers been a major problem here for past releases? I was lucky and jumped in late; I only first played ME1 the week following ME2's release, anbd since I'd never been to the forum before then, I didn't have a single spoiler to ruin my experience in either game. B)

Bioware tried really hard to avoid Spoilers. Well at least the beta drummed up some excitement for the game.

This sucks for the devs, especially with it being a solid 5 months or so before the game even comes out.

And even though its seemingly Microsoft's fault for putting the beta up, the same thing happened with DA2 and DAO with files uncovering the plot, albeit that happened much closer to release in those cases.
