I do feel sorry for all the people at Bioware though, having this so soon after the other leak must be a nightmare, especially when trying to get on with finishing the game!

Some of this stuff is just sadistic. Bioware has a funny way of rewarding players for getting emotionally invested in their stories.
Still, we have to keep in mind that some of it might've changed by now, or can be avoided. If not, however (thinking of one thing in particular right now) ..........

Ever read a book where it's obvious that the writer hates a certain character, and any subtlety or development is thrown out in favor of making them into a cartoon villain they can use as a punching bag?
I'm so glad to find out early that I chose the wrong characters to like, and this series isn't for me anymore.

I didn't mind watching the beta vids since there's nothing there I didn't already know from the official coverage, but I really don't want a repeat of the DA2 spoilers.

Now, you may still be wondering how this proves age, well the E3 demo was a shortened version of the Sur'Kesh demo, and was likely built on top of it, meaning that was at this point exactly 4 months ago, now I know the entire level still isn't finsihed, even in the demo but it does all fit into itself seamlessly.
The E3 demo, as we saw through Bioware TV consisted of parts of 3 different levels, Earth, Sur'Kesh and the as of yet unnamed planet with the reaper base on it. 3 levels, even partial levels would take quite a long time to get from whitebox to the product we saw at E3, not even considering the fact that it would at least need to be at hardening to get down the custom animations within the scenes, not to mention getting in the(at least) 9 different voice actors accross the 3 levels (Anderson, Ashley, Shepard, Mordin, Garrus, Liara, Wrex, Legion, EDI) to do their takes. Without even taking in consideration for bugtesting the Kinect features.
The E3 demo, in all of it's size would've taken at least a month, if not 2 to work together, polish and bug test to that it didn't just die on stage in front of all those in attendance and the thousands who were watching and would go onto watch later. 6 months people, 6 months wherein everything and anything is subject to change.
To any who say this is moot, or that it doesn't matter, because it's been worked on since E3 I feel the distinct need to point you to the latest Extra Credits episode, which touches on how demos for E3 are made. It states that demos like this are just the barebones structures needed to function, and that often any work done on them is scrapped later on in the project.
http://penny-arcade....king-conditions (I know the name is deceiving, but it's in there, starting at 6:30)
Basically what we saw at E3, and in this leaked demo is a Tomorrowland build, it's the future that never was. Those tlk files are from a build from when the E3 demo was first being structured as an offshoot of whatever the current main build was being worked on, this is a parallel dimension that fractured 6 months ago, almost one fourth of the total time for production and pre-production of ME3. So, let's not be too worried here, okay?

These so called "spoilers" are what I would call "half-truths", "oversimplifications", and just outright falsehoods. I read them and still took them with a grain of salt. Will continue to do so until the ACTUAL game comes out. Night night!
When i read accidently about the human reaper and the collectors beeing protheans i also dont want to believe that. Too bad it was true..

Just to inject a little bit of scale here as to how far out of date this information may be, this list literally has to be over 5-6 months old, one of the first spoilers directly contradicts things seen within the leaked beta demo.
Agreed - this feels like an early draft, just to get the general gist of the scenes and scenarios in place, while the specifics have almost certainly adapted and changed over the months.
Having said that, the general premise and character arcs...I doubt they'll change too drastically this late into production, at least until you factor in the various big factors from ME2 (which may or may not change much either).

forunately, I am clear of spoilers.
I might surf around to learn about new announcements, but I am going to stay clear of the general disscusion forum.
See you after the game is released!

Well Zaeed and Kasumi's missions changed drasically, with Zaeed and you intially going in with a Mako and Kasumi's mission originally dealing with a virus, instead of Keiji. I'm not saying that it will change, just that they're still working some parts of the story even now to get the right feel, so we can all take a bit of a breather regarding some of the more... eccentric story descisions.Planeforger wrote...
