So first people go 'OMG EVERYONE LIVING IS UNREALISTIC WTF BIOWARE!'

And then the second their favorite character becomes a casualty OMG WTF BIOWARE? WHY YOU REPAYING MY EMOTIONAL INVESTMENT LIKE THIS!

....Just really guys?

Think of it as Horizon x12.

It's no big deal until it happens to a character you care about;)

Edit:  But I'm taking these spoilers with a large grain of salt nonetheless.  We don't know how "fixed" these details are or even a lot of the context.

I am not entirely sold on these spoilers since there were some inconsistencies between the script and what we have seen in the public demos thus far and even the beta leak. Will keep an eye out and as usual take spoilers with a grain of salt.

Like I said, they're at least 6 months old, and some of them were out of date then.

I haven't even read the spoilers so don't post one but seriously are you really going to expect your going to be able to chose who lives and who dies in a ****ing Galactic war for the very sake of the Galaxy. Shepard is good but not that good.

That's entirely because these story details are old, and unreleased to the general public before the story hints we've gotten came out.

No real surprises there. BioWare's writing has gotten so formulatic and stale that I can barely consider these things spoilers. Oh well, at least it will be enjoyable gameplay wise.

It's also incredibly frustrating when the game removes any control the player might have. There is a fine line between drama and just annoying deaths. From what I've read, you better be ready for a lot of : "OH COMMON, AGAIN?".

Well from spoilers I seen on the ending if its true, one of the ending options is just stupid, and the "Good ending" It has 5 different ways it can play out, that I'm wondering about. I mean there is only one imo good ending and it has a number of ways to still end baddly.

But I do hope bioware will annouce what has changed or isn't current from the Demo, also don't hand any demos out anymore, make them play in house. Journalist seem to be more trouble than they are worth as of late. If its all %100 the same, then why was it delayed? To add in some ****ty VA ability from the Kenict? To not have to compeat with Skyrim? I mean really I hope there is some changes, but the ending I figured would play like that, just tell us how to get that "good" ending, Or least get rid of the stupid one.

Mind you Pm'ing me that "Stupid Ending"? I'm curious as why poeple call it stupid.

Sure thing, anyways this is a qoute I found on another forum I felt would do good here.

"I do wonder about the legitimacy of this leak. The switching between second-person and third-person seems a little odd for a design doc/story bible - and I can't help but think they'd keep such a thing in a separate repository, not in the game files themselves."

Hopefully we can get a "Percentage" on what changes were made from the leak or how much of the leak is false.

Where is the leaked plot/story? I want to take a quick sneak peek at it. Yes, I don't mind spoilers, as long as not every single detail is spoiled. So, can I read the leaked story?

You know I'm wondering if Bioware may end up saying **** it and waiting another year to reright he story because of a small group of very loud people hate a very non accurate rough draft of a default shep playthrough.

Basically pull a Half life 2 which would give ME3 a 50/50 chance of sucking hard.

Stupidest thing they could ever do imo. Who cares if some cynical people from a minority section of the fanbase don't like the plot of the game?

I still can't judge since

1. Its a very old rough draft of the game.

2. I haven't read it.

3. Its a outline for a default shepard

4. No real fault to your own but I can barely trust this community site due to it being widely known by many others as a blight.

Its been pulled Luc0s it was leaked on a Russian Forum. But as the above qoute says I wonder about how much of it is even true or not. Bioware is doing bad damage control on this in most reguards.

Yeah, well It's not really a galactic war... it's a game that is meant to offer the player choice.  If the same character dies in the same scenario every time... that gets very old very quickly.  I'm referring to squadmates and LIs here, not other NPCs.

lulz, I guess the minority is pretty effective to make Bioware games not that successful saleswise then, isn't it?

That bad, huh?

Then again, from the silly things you said about ME2, perhaps it's not time to worry.

Your so right because all games are obligated to give the player all the choices possible. Don't use that "its a game" bs as an argument. I can easily say you shouldn't worry about it since its a game. The setting is a Galactic war in which you will lose some people you care about. Plus I can't really trust you necessarily on the very old rough draft not giving player choice for a number of reasons that I listed above.

Now I'm gone.

No, it's not quite that bad. Still pretty extreme, though.

Nah, it's nowhere near Horizon x12.

Horizon x5 at the most.

Am i the only one who actualy supports scripted deaths?
Not only it makes things more realistic, it also shows that Shepard can't save everyone.

Somebody at Microsoft (who is probably filling a shallow grave now) accidentally released the unfinished beta demo onto Xbox Live. As usual, some crafty hackers datamined the files and found an outline of the game's plot.

Supposedly it's old data and not representative of the final product, but we'll see on March 6 if that's true or if they pulled a Gears of War 3 on us.

What aspect of Horizon, exactly?

Apperantly it was in the leaked demo's game directory which I doubt, and which I question how valid it was, but apperantly it was ripped by a Russian on a Russian Forum first, and posted. Parts of it are bad, parts good, parts that will for sure ****** off alot of fans, thats why I don't really trust it. Bioware I don't think would just go ****** us all off and have two out of the three enging be troll endings, with the last being good one out of 4 times.

Also Why in the hell would full plot files be in a demo? Makes no sense.  Biowares silence on this however is only encouraging it.

DA2 Demo had the same problem.

And BW said it was real but "outdated."
