Hey Everyone!
We are still investigating, but it appears that some internal story files have been leaked. Even though the information in those files is out of date and does not reflect the final story experience, we urge fans not to read them if they want to experience the purest form of the story in Mass Effect 3.

Ya just please make it so they aren't here on the BSN...its hard to not trip over them, its already been partially spoiled for me

Before I go, could anyone who looked at the leaked script tell me if Vega is the only new "main" character or if any others will be joining? It's something the dev's have been annoyingly quiet about.

You just read script, you haven't saw how these scenes, charachters and dialogue plays out.
To tell you the truth not one script nowadays isn't original anymore but there is a big difference between that and how well executed plot is. Look at Pixar movies, they don't have original plots but every story was executed very good.

Pal, unfortunately it seems everyone will be raging, not a select few. Read the script and you'll know what I mean. I just read it again and wow is it linear. I hope it's just because they need to get a basic structure down, because if this is final it'd be as variable as GoW3's campaign, which wasn't at all. I'm not going to jump ship just yet, but looking at the story as it is in this leak it's 100% linear action > scripted sequence of shepard > action > scripted sequence > action. Additionally, I hope none of you guys have gotten too attached to the squadmates of ME1/ME2... And I'm not referring to the fact that they're getting small/medium cameos....

Writing is linear. It has to be to be comprehensible. So even a nonlinear story may look linear when written down.
Plus even if what we've seen in completely accurate (and I'm hoping it's not) that's still only a small fraction of the stuff that can take place. Many of those spoilers presupposes certain characters are alive, or certain choices made.
Not saying there's nothing to worry about. But I don't think these leaks give enough information to know what to be concerned about. Well, except the gameplay stuff, since that's far enough advanced to be played.

considering its a leak Bioware doesnt do much of a damage control
Well - It's hard to damage control something that everyone has their hands own. A lot of people saved files of the scripts and videos.

*SPOILER*
There is 1, or maybe 2. The one who surely is, is Falere, another one of Samara's daughter. There was a bit hard too read, but it also might look like Eva, some sort of bot, is a squadmate as well.
And maybe prothy. But it was hard to see whether or not he was a squadmate.

Sorry guys, but I'd really rather not know about major choices and character deaths and whatnot four months ahead of release. I'll be back March 8th or so.

Story is a jumbled mess, if this is what Casey's vision for the finale of Mass Effect 3 is I'm done with Bioware.
How people can be this dumb is beyond me.
What part of "unfinished" "beta" and "inaccurate" can't you guys understand?

Uh...yeah...this IS Casey's vision. A long series of non sequiturs. In fact, it's all going to be text on screen, rather than animations. What you're seeing is the final form ME3 will take. Cheers!

Apparently the "unfinished" "beta" and "innacurate" parts.

Its not that its unoriginal. It really is "why the hell did they even made me these descions if they will be pointless anyway" stupid. And if you think ME2 was bad already this tops ME2 by far. The ending is just WTF why would Bioware even think about this stupid.Blooddrunk1004 wrote...
I love how everyone is judging the whole story based on unfinished script.

Yes I know that people still want to believe that you had impact on the story and even if it was meaning less in ME1 and ME2 people hoped it will all fit together in the end. And I am pretty sure some stull will fit. but everythign you did in the main story has almost no influence whatsoever in the main plot.

By the impression of the people here I think that the Council did the right choice not saying anything about the reapers. Just wait for March and we'll see how many of these ragers remain raging.

You don't rewrite entire plot lines 5 months from launch. You don't do that if you want to ship your game.

They can also cut out a lot of that.
As they did with ME2.

Okay, I seriously doubt that this build of the game was made like last week.
