Bioware's going to have to come out and say something. Right now I'm trying to believe that this isn't going to be the final script, but other companies who have had leaks said the same and it ended up not changing at all. Bioware keeping quiet makes it look like this could be the final script.
Please, say something guys!

They probably will release a statement on this. Jesse said they're still investigating, though, so it might take them a bit.

On the other hand we know of a company who had a similar leak, pushed back the release for a bit and came out with a freaking awesome game. That company was Valve and the game was Half Life 2.
I don't know what the story here is, I refuse to go near the spoilers. But if reaction to it is genuinely this bad, I'd rather wait longer while Bioware makes it awesome. I know they can.

And there are some newer infos that contradict what we read while bromances and romances were done only recently.

If they are really have rewritten most of it or planing to do then you will see a delay at least till fall. And so far this all sounds like damage control and nothing more.

@Luan:Microsoft did not write this terrible plot.

From what I've read, the reaction is as polarizing as anything else the Mass Effect team has ever done, rife with folks who like what they've read just from a poorly-translated rough draft as well as those that, yes, dislike it.

One thing I will have to say is that the Thane mission bioware showed some gaming site recently isn't even mentioned in the script at all. So that gives me a little hope that some stuff has change. Although you have to admit that the general structure of the story is most likely going to be the same.

I said this again. Where's the source for that Thane mission? As far as I remember, it was suppoused to be a leak from Xbox World that got posted on BSN before we knew Xbox World would actually ahve multiplayer info. Can someone tell me which actual gaming website/magazine said anything about Thane's mission? Did I miss something?

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's mentionned. Not sure that I'm thinking of the right sequence but Thane and another character are definetly mentionned.

Seriously, can't all those who like Mass Effect wait until the game is released ? I've seen so much hate for this game already. It's boring. This game is GOING to be good. Those are just sheets of text, without music, scenes, dialogues, etc... Use your imagination (if u have one) or wait for the game. Personally I havent read this "leak" and I won't read it. I'm not god damn troll like 70% of internet users. Games are not to be taken seriously, but some people do this mistake. Let's wait and see what the game has to offer.

I'm trying to find it but I can't seem to. The person who played it said they were on this planet with Thane trying to rescue some Hanar scientists who had discovered the cure for his disease.

I read it twice and never came across that. There was mention of Thane and a certain person, but it wasn't this mission that was described in this article. And the leak mission directly contradicts the mission that the article was talking about. Can't say much more without giving away spoilers.

I really disagree with that kind of blind faith. There is nothing like a guarantee regarding the quality of ME3. And really, if you want to get down to this, you could assume that ME3 is going to be a trainwreck.

And here is the problem. Its not that you should read it. But people who have read tis script are complaining about the stupid story that makes many parts in the first 2 games totally pointless and stupid.  They have all reason to be pissed.

And I cant believe people are still trusting Bioware after the DA2 disaster, Trust me its much better to complain now so they can delay and rewrite this script. Honeslty  this leak was a send of heaven for this series.

Assuming it's relating to this(they might not have let all the leads know lest they lose moral). That basically removes any doubt that this is either fake or so old that almost all of it is outdated. I mean the key word in the OP is "appears". Just saying.

I also disagree with people using the terms "blind faith" and "trust" interchangeably.  Earned trust is not blind faith.  If I've liked every Bioware game I've played since BG2, how is it blind faith to suppose I will probably like the next one? I'm using evidence and past experiences to form my opinion, not arbitrary gut feeling.
 

But everyone knows Dragon Age 2 had problems herp derp. I don't trust Pixar after Cars 2 herp derp.
