Hey Everyone!
We are still investigating, but it appears that some internal story files have been leaked. Even though the information in those files is out of date and does not reflect the final story experience, we urge fans not to read them if they want to experience the purest form of the story in Mass Effect 3.

I read some of it and it's not bad at all (can't read too much). What you're reading is basically a script. In movies a script can be really good or average, but the execution can make or break a movie.
Again you have no context of the flow of events, characters, how the dialogue options are truly layed out etc.

These so called "spoilers" are what I would call "half-truths", "oversimplifications", and just outright falsehoods. I read them and still took them with a grain of salt. Will continue to do so until the ACTUAL game comes out. Night night!
Very true. A lot of the point form info seemed to be more trolling to get people worked up (lots of LOL etc.), even though alot of it makes sense if you think about it. However actually breezing over some of the alleged story material itself seems pretty cool imo.

Wow Bioware talk about no internal security first beta testing of game gets released to a few people, now the story for game get released. If I didn't know any better I would say this is a ploy to get more people interested in the game.

Yeah in mayn games that is the case. But just according to the video footage of the beta leak the voice acting is absolut terrible. Yeah maybe thats a bit hyperbole but after playing a game like Uncharted 3 this sounds really really bad in terms of acting.
And hoenstly: Bioware should delay the game till fall or so and rewrite alot of stuff. Even if they dont think its bad but to surprise people at least.

NO. Bioware didn't want any story spoilers released. Hell they barely shown anything related to the story but mostly shown gameplay this year.

The leaks were one and the same, and only one of them has fault that can be placed on a company. The beta leak was Microsoft, the story was some random guy who took them demo off his console and datamined it, similar to what Didy did with all the unused dialogue.Eragondragonrider wrote...

Stop blaming Bioware everyone, it's not their fault, and the demo is nothing you wouldn't have learned or seen in January, just a little worse for wear.

After this, I wouldn't be surprised to not hear a thing from BW about ME3 until two weeks before launch. I did not read the spoilers (seems I am one of the few with enough willpower to not click the goddam' link), but from the posts I've been reading the spoilers are major.
They are major so don't click the link. I find myself impervious to spoilers (mostly). They actually get me more interested in a game not less.

1: It's a beta
2: Terrible voice acting? Really? ALmost everything that wasn't obvious placeholder was top of the line.

This is not BioWare's fault. It was Microsoft that leaked the beta in their Fall Xbox Dashboard Preview and it seems that the Russian website extracted all this stuff from beta files.Eragondragonrider wrote...
