Read bits and pieces of it. What's wrong with the ending? Anyone who has played past BW games would know how predictable they can be. After ME 1, we all knew it was going to be either destroy them, join them, or die trying.

And I could write a draft for ME 1 that makes it sound like the worst BW game.

And even that only illustrates the choice at the end, not the outcome of the game, because there are other things that affect your ending.

Can someone plz post a link to thouse story spoiler files plz !!

You REALLY don't want to read it. It's garbage.

What he said.  I don't know if he's referring to the plot, but the whole way it's presented is head ache inducing.

The thing is head ache inducing like no other. I read through it because people were going crazy over the "bad story" and I had no idea where they were getting everything from. It is constantly jumping around, going over the same mission/scenario a few times... the entire thing is irritating to read!

Quoted for truth, that's why I keep saying that it was a disjointed mess and pulling conclusions from it has to be done with a grain of salt and done carefully.  No body is thinking about what they read, only using confirmation bias to hate it even more before its out.

That is why nothing I have posted makes sense... I'd say the random stuff I'm throwing out is as plausible as that draft containing the entire finished story. haha

Precisely. ME 1: Sovereign is destroyed and Saren is dead regardless of what you do beforehand. ME 2: Giant potato base is blown up with explosives or radiation.

All the endings sound bad on paper. You couldn't join with Sovereign at the end of ME 1, or join the Collectors in ME 2. Now they give us more options, and people still complain about it.

Shep walking out of the rubble with a cheesy grin and lame music playing the background of ME 1 sounds bad and looked even worse on screen, and yet there's no complaints about it in the final game. There are dozens of examples in the first game alone where if it were described, you would think it came from a Bay film.

We shouldn't immediately assume the leaked files are true, as Bioware have been known to troll it's own fans. However, if the script is genuine then I have this to say to the person or people that wrote it;

BWAHAHAHA - YOU'RE DOOMED

Want to see a script for ME 1 that looks bad by BW standards?

ME2 as well.

I don't know why people are acting like cheesy ridculous plots are something new to the series. I start to wonder if they even played the previous games.

And yet the trolls here today loud ME1 as the pinacle of storytelling...<_<,  ME1 was a deeply flawed "rpg" with a decent story, ME2 is a good shooter with a lame plot, ME3 combined the best of both games, going by the beta and the story leaks.

You should see the hilarious overreaction post by Shammy-clown in that other 40+ page thread. Page 48. That bat makes G9, TK and co look reasonable and sensible.

Okay, wait, were people seriously expecting mined data to read like a screenplay?

You're assuming most of them even know what an actual screenplay would look like.

It's just game files. I'm surprised it's legible at all.

Not at all, though I think I've seen screenplays written in the same manner=]

I'm glad no one tried organizing the info though before releasing it.  Makes it more discouraging to read.

I wonder what the draft for ME 1 read like. It was probably just as bad, if not worse than 3.

I can't facepalm hard enough.

It's choppy, out of order, and incredibly hard to understand without context, but that's because it's developer notes and rough outlines of missions.

"Shepard goes to this place, this person shows up, and then this happens--TAKE NOTE, CINEMATIC GUYS" is exactly what one should expect.

Apparently.

Never mind that there are huge chunks of data missing to give a clear picture of what's going on or anything.

I can confirm this.

I think I can count the amount of times Garrus was mentioned on one hand.

Someone reinstall ME 1, type all the dialogue out, but not in context, describe the worst scenes in text and jumble it. You'll get something that doesn't resemble the quality of the actual game at all.

Shepard goes to planet; think beginning of b-movie, lots of obscure camera angles and 'homages'

Shepard and crew of ship (USS Berlin Wall? Something to that effect) go to political hub; shark-jumping politician and zany, unsure aliens; Shepard digs up intel on bad guy and becomes savior while gaining party members (let's do a krogan [the klingon guys, kind of like frogs]) and a turian [the bird people] and maybe a girl with chicken legs)

USS Berlin Wall (or whatever) goes to various worlds following bad guys on wild goose chase; reaches fourth world (Vector? Vir? Something that starts with a 'V'; 'V' is an ominous letter) and sacrifices someone (human, preferrably; there are a lot of those) and then discovers Big Revelation (bad guy is working for another bad guy, perhaps an organization, vast and all-powerful)

Shepard and Berlin Wall survivors go to new world, find out more about bad guys

Shepard fights bad guy at political hub; wins (please insert a cheesy grin)

I missed all leaks because I was taking one. True story.

Content leaks are inevitable. You hit up any site that deals in or with talk about an upcoming video game, you're liable to get surprise spoiler'd in any and every way possible. Simple as that.

Spend your spare time playing games instead of grasping at straws online next time around.

They see what they want to see and they hear what they want to hear.

Think about it for a second. When Action Mode Story Mode and RPG Mode was announced all people saw and heard . ACTIONS MODES and COD TARDS.

Usually it's not quite this excessive though, to be fair. As in, excessive enough that the project lead for the game is clearly pretty angry about it. Something to this extent didn't happen with either of the first two games -- this was a pretty huge ordeal.

Not gonna lie, that actually sounds awesome. It also, however, sounds nothing like the the spoilers.
