Yes, you seem so reasonable and unbiased. I can’t think of a reason why someone wouldn’t want to get drawn into a circular debate with you.

Good. We don't need any more Full Metal Alchemist fans.

HURR HURR, HILARIOUS. As much as I dislike mainstream anime, if there's one thing FMA got right is that it had a well-written plot. I am disgusted how you guys just take everything Bioware shovels in your face. DA2, casualization of Mass Effect, TOR being a carbon-copy of WOW, Day-1 DLC, costume packs, online passes, etc. You don't even debate it, you just go "MAN STOP HATING BIOWARE IS TRYING THEIR HARDEST THEY CARE." No, they don't. They've lied and BS'd their way to Mass Effect 3. Everything we warned them about and have been reassured upon was a complete lie, they don't care about anything except for money.

Yeah, I know. But just like you don't want to believe them, I don't want to believe you. I want to see it for myself.

I could care less. I am sorry to be the baron of bad news, but you seem buttered, so allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality, because it’s now like the pot calling the kettle cracked. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go.
Irregardless, make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts, instead of making a half-harded effort. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake. Accept the fax.

What are the inconsistences you found with the me3 plot?

I doubt I need to tell you because Dave has probably already covered it.

Let's go with Udina though. He is turned from merely an antagonistic support character with understandable motivations to a one-note villain due to Bioware playing the indoctrination card. No depth there and the only reason they did that is to satisfy the fans who want to kill him for not kissing their ass.

There was never any need or justification to turn him into a villain (at least not in that way). He could be villainous enough just by being pro-human without making him an actual enemy.

Did you forget how the reapers always start by taking races leaders first? how they trick people into serving the reapers in order to be spared? The first thing the reapers should do if they have minimal inteligence is indocrinate the humans leaders and convince them to support the reapers... Did you even pay attention to ME1 plot?

IMO, indoctrination is a plot device that has been far overused.

In fact, getting rid of Udina in a way undoes the consequence of allowing him to become Councilor. His racist police state will die with him. It would have been better if you just had to suffer for it and accept that even when you win the war Udina will continue to use the Council to allow humans to stomp down the other aliens. Meanwhile he'll stifle the freedom and expression of the very humans he claims to defend.

Congratulations Shepard, you made a police state and you have to live with it.

Wow, it was so terrible that I didn't even feel bad about spoiling it while I read it. Seriously? The people on this forum have come with mind-blowing ideas compared to this. Get EA, your garbage writers, and this PC mentality out of Bioware. Been a fan since BG2, I'm done.

What the hell are you talking about PC mentality? Can you point out (quote) what part of the leak you didnt like? i asked this for several compleiners now but not a SINGLE one of them can come up with a list of problem with the story (again, with quote not just mindless speculation)

Maybe the fact that the Reapers are stopped by an off switch? Maybe the fact that the Illusive Man/Cerberus has no depth and is "HURR DURR PRAGMATIC LOGICAL WE ARE JUST LOOKING OUT FOR OURSELVES." They completely dropped the ball on character depth, everything is just a straight-forward idea of morality.

Do you even know the detail of the "off switch" who made and how hard it is to use itt?
Did you ever hear what EVERYONE who dosent work for Cerberus thinks of the organization? Child Experiments, torture, mind control devices(thorian creepers) ... You have to be blind to not think Cerberus is a crazy evil/villany group anyone with some discerniment could see this comming...

Its the invasion relay.  Of course it makes sense, it doesn't make sense to you.

People have a hard time separating their opinion from fact.  Its not stupid and pointless, you don't understand why it's done.

Considering that the Reapers have processing ships and that future organic races can discover the Citadel much earlier than intended and without the use of mass relay technology, which pretty much undermines the whole reason why the Reapers are targeting the advanced races to begin with?

Yes, it's stupid.

*spoilers being discussed*

Is it the Reapers that bring it to Earth or Citadel races?  Makes a big difference in the context.

Reapers bring it to Earth doesn't make sense to me either from what we know (or don't know).

Citadel Races bringing it to Earth if it's capable makes perfect sense.  Reapers built it to be impervious to weapon damage.  What better bastion to mount a full scale attack than Mass Relaying the Citadel and maybe even entire fleets to Earth?  Basically an ironic twist of fortunes and a bad joke on the Reapers.

First: Why do people read spoilers from datamining?
Second: Why the hell do people datamine to begin with?

That's an insult to Bioware.

So is judging a game you haven't played yet. Play it, then judge it. Far as I'm concerned, if I had heard about fighting a giant evil space ship before I played ME1, I would have said "lame," but instead of reading spoilers and turning my nose up, I played it.

the irony is that the ME books are less engaging. In fact they are terrible. Same with the comics. And yes I know that you were referring to books in general.

No really it wasn't. At least not on this scale. Cerberus was being set-up to have a smaller role in the game right up until the first videos and images of ME3 were released. It makes sense; a smaller role is a more flexible one. Cerberus having a small part would allow the players more freedom to choose to side with or against them.

When I finished ME2 and especially after watching youtube videos of keeping the base and/or Shepard dieing, I was convinced Cerberus was going to make a play for total dominance of the Galaxy via the Reaper invasion.  The Illusive Man's face at the end of the renegade ending says it all...

Oh, and you'll meet Kahlee Sanders on the Grissom Academy. If you don't have Jack in your party, Kahlee will be squashed like a bug.

Have fun with that.

Okay, so this all goes back to people wanting to side with Cerberus...

WHY IS IT ALWAYS CERBERUS?
