I am offended that I am considered a troll in any way. This is truly how I see the world. People are stupid.

I see the world as everyone is evil, born evil and coddled in it. But I don't go around saying that to people. If you're really not a troll, just a tip.

You're too nice to be an effective troll, we can spot it immediately. Plus, you know, the fact that when we ask you SAY that you're trolling.

I feel obligated to tell people.

This isn't really a spoiler, but from the leakage that I obviously don't want to read into, does it say which romances can be s/s?

Hooray for overreacting at an early iteration of the plot missing a ton of context! Image IPB

Hooray for making certain people stay away from the forum in the future with such ease.

Again though that's been a problem with Cerberus in general.  Since ME1 they have had all these bases and space stations around the Galaxy no one seems to knows of.

In ME1 their stations were nondescript and Cerberus had clearly gone to great pains to keep them hidden. Of-course these stations were wiped out anyway. Same with the stations in ME2 (only now they advertise their name everywhere).

At the end of ME2 we saw a small fleet approaching the Collector base. It was not an impressive spectacle and should have been the biggest grouping of forces Cerberus could manage.

They were special ops, not a goddamn army.

Nope. Barely anything on the romances in the leak.

I don't think there's as much about the romances in the stuff. Haven't seen it but it did seem like that was a series of plot points written much later.

Who DID leak the beta? Not specifically obviously... but I was under the impression that it wasnt Bioware`s fault.

And I thought it was hinted somewhere that the bulk of the Cerberus ground troops might not just be normal guys off of the streets? Actually, if they visited Okeer's lab after you clear it out they might have some interesting tech...

It was just included with the Fall Update for Xbox Live Marketplace.

Kind of funny considering they did something similar near ME2`s release... Wait was it Microsoft that did that?

I never saw any explanation provided as to the number of troops available to Cerberus in ME3. It could be that they're cloning super-soldiers, they could be using Reaper indoctrination to bend soldiers to their will, or they could simply have had some mercenary armies stashed away awaiting galactic war.

*snip*

It seems only one cell of Cerberus, the military arm, was hit hard in ME1, you can glean some of that from conversations with Miranda.  As for the fleet, I wonder if that wasn't the Scientific arm of cerberus, another cell entirely.  By this logic, the military cell could have rebuilt, and as others have pointed out, the Cerberus grunts aren't normal.  Probably not naturally raised humans at any rate.

Good, now Cerberus has gone from "gray" to black and they use clones. How thought provoking.

Probably clones, since I doubt they'll gain much public support after the initial attack.

Except from idiots like Terra Firma, perhaps.

Funny definition of "gray" you have there.

That's what Bioware called them. You don't like it? Take it up with them. I might even agree with you.

Since I refuse to read the leak and become spoiled, I tested the waters going through over 20 pages of bull**** and complaining.

What I've gathered:

If this is anything like the GOW3 leak almost 8 months before and a complete leak 2 months prior to release and Microsoft lying to save face, then this is a complete disaster and this is NOT as rough as they want you to believe despite one or two scenes being completely different.

This was apparently only 60% since the romance and most squaddies weren't written. Like no Garrus.

Multiple endings, which pleases me.

One of the endings is just terrible, absolutely shambolic.

It's not a bad story and has its epic moments, but the several bad parts are really, really terrible.

Cover everything?

I think it was just a very dark gray. Anyway, Bioware likes to see every choice as morally gray, even when it clearly isn't.

Why wouldn't they use clones? That was the whole purpose behind the Rachni experiments and the thorian creepers. They needed shock troops and TIM has shown time and gain he'll take what he can get. Is it terribly thought provoking? No, but I don't think that particular part needs to be.
