Eh most of the "spoilers" I've seen are hardly what I'd call major spoilers. Considering what I even read is legit. Heck I'd say knowing Cerberus is indoctrinated on Sur'Kesh is still the biggest spoiler of them all.

There's few details regarding some very basic plot structure of a couple missions. Also some of this stuff would be entirely different depending on your import file. Or they should be. Most of what is detailed is very sketchy and honestly I kind of even doubt half of this will in be in the final product. The Devs could easily change most of this stuff before release and no one would know. And I strongly suspect they will.

Anyways one of the big spoilers we've already known about for awhile and has been discussed more then a few times here. Seriously this one isn't a big secret. And if Bioware thinks it's secret it ain't.  You should know the Pink Panther is in ME3 by now.

The second big one could be shocking for some. But to be honest it's pretty obvious that there'd be something like that. It's about as shocking as finding out the Collectors have a Collector Base. I mean really. I guess it's a spoiler, but it doesn't ruin ME3 for me. Also it could be nothing like I imagine it, the details are too vague.

My verdict as the Super Critic?

There's nothing here that indicates ME3's story bad. But there's nothing here that indicates the storyline as whole will be great. There's hardly anything notable at all. The only thing I got out of this was some re-assurance that importing your game from ME1 and ME2 will have some impact on ME3. And the Devs have already told us this stuff would happen, so I don't get what's shocking. Honestly if people fuss over these sort of minute details I'm just gonna give up on BSN's Insanity.

as an aside, for those who've read the info and gotten angry about certain plot directions, keep in mind it was datamined from a leaked and incomplete beta. just from reading it myself it seems to only allow for a rather narrow branching of story builds from your actions in ME1/2. it most certainly does not contain nor quantify every possible piece of the story. just by reading it, you can tell it's not complete, it just gives a vague outline of some of the possible paths to the end

That's what I walked away with, not everything was there, and the things that were were repeated several times in slightly different fasions.  Enough to know that you'll be seeing branching based on your decisions within ME3 and from the previous games.

yeah, when it finally comes out we'll see how much of this stays in and how much gets changed. and you have to admit, 4 months is a good chunk of time for them to spend expanding possibilities based on our actions. something i'm wondering too is if we get shep killed at the end of 2, does that disqualify that saved game from loading up ME3?

really what i got out of the spoilers more than anything else... was 10x the questions....

Thank you for the summary Cheez & Bluko just above me. A little reassuring. But do you really believe they have enough time to change whats in there or are you hoping they do?

Wow.  I mean, wow.

Your decisions really, really matter.  And you won't believe who's coming back, the places you get to go, the things you get to do, who lives and dies, who's siding with whom and why...  For a sh*tty rough outline, this is gonna be amazing.

This is AdmiralCheez, tell you personally that the game has not been ruined.  ME3, judging by a very early implementation of its storyline, is going to rock and rock hard.  And, looking at the gameplay footage, combat and squad banter has been improved 300%.

There were some parts that were a bit blah, but no worse than what we've already dealt with and nothing so facepalmy as the Lazarus Project.

And I can guarantee you will f*cking cry.

I agree with Cheez. The stuff in the spoilers was actually pretty cool. I'm barely coming to terms with the fact that I really did get spoiled, though.

I'm just happy that two of my pet theories (which I haven't posted on here about, so no search will help you spoiler seekers) came pretty close to the mark.  I'm also happy that certain things were so totally different from what I had envisioned that I was kind of blown away.  I can't wait to see what goes down in March, that's for daaaaaaaaaaamn sure.

I'm just glad we get to kill XXXXXXX. He was such a dick in ME1&2. I would never choose him for ********, ever.

You should hear  some of the things I've heard concerning plot points and character actions that were considered  for works like The  Lord of the Rings and Star Wars :D

I'm still gonna worry more the silliness about Ash's costume, which I have seen, than the hypothetical plot points of game footage, that I have not seen.

I still agree on that.  ME 2 is my favourite game of all time.  I know, regardless, ME 3 is going to be better in every way but it doesn't change the fact that I feel dirty for giving into my curiousity.

After seeing Ash in action via the leaked demo footage, I'm really alright with it. What I'm not really settling well with is the idea of her as a Spectre. It seems entirely forced.

The new outfit fits her as a Spectre, but the new Spectre standing doesn't fit her as a character, IMO.

Ashleys costume to me just became so a minor annoyance that it barely registers on my radar anymore :/  I relaly hope that the plotpoints that are the ones pissing me off the most (you know what they are)  are going to be changed in final built to something less... hateful

Thanks Cheez. :)  It's really not long before the game is released - time to start avoiding the forums altogether me thinks. :) I'm actually scared of scrolling down the list of threads in case a thread title contains spoilers!!! Take care everybody - see you after release!!! :)

So even I'll be happy with it?

I just hope The Reapers aren't overexplained and merely turn out to be weaksauce The Shadows clones from B5 like I've been fearing.

So... not much at all. All that Sur'kesh stuff we've seen will still happen with Wreav instead of Wrex even though it doesn't make any sense, and some Random Salarian #7 will be in Mordin's shoes if he died in the Suicide Mission, etc.?

So by playing Renegade I'm just getting fewer cameos? Figures.
