I haven't read the spoilers list, but as usual, BSN is splintered. Still, I can't possibly fathom how people can judge a whole story just by reading the plot points of a beta leak of a demo. It's just not right.

How isnt it like your typical hero game ? All lifthreatened, ancient evil, only one person can stop it, agaisnt all odds...

Twists and turns = good.

It could turn out shepard was actually a clone, then it turns out it was a dream, then it turns out your just a man who wnet to the bar, had his drink spiked and imagine dit all. Then it turns out your a rabbit.

I rather enjoyed the mess on Neogaf that I read. And if you're nit picking plot holes, pigeon hole writing, and other things like that.... Just put down the Mass Effect series right now. For all the fantastical crap that Sheppard's done and people discredit him/her for, you think (s)he'd learn to pull out an Omnitool and record what he's doing (Virgil on Ilos, the Sovereign conversation on Virmire, EDI's analysis of the Collector body in their ship, or even the Human Reaper).

I don't know about you guys, but I don't play these games to be a literary critic. I play them to pass them time, and enjoy doing it. I play them to feel immersed in a wonderful and rich galaxy with solid story writing (even if your choices don't matter all too much in the end).

So while you sit here harping on these people who are going to deliver another quality game in this series; sit back and think. Could I do better? Probably not.

Why would you believe marketing hype? game companies always like to exagurate they're stuff. It's like when Bethesda says create a new character play your way! a different adventure everytime while they make good games it's a complete lie. The game doesn't change plots don't change quests don't change. Just forget the marketing hype and just enjoy it

Those spoilers did have a lot of significant detail but they were still very thin. We have no idea yet how choice will play out in the game.

Choices in Bioware games rarely change the overall plot. Revan still wins regardless of the darkside/lightside choices. Its how relationships change and the shape of the conclusion that's at stake.
